I don’t talk to anyone irl about working out either, occasionally my brother maybe. I do text my friends when I do something amazing, but that usually just gets head pats back.

Booyeah Spock. Deloads have a way of stoking the fire so to speak. That is probably the best reason to deload as well.

Alrighty OFF today.

Meaning I pushed the prowler and did some abs. It was boring and I didn’t feel like doing it, but I know I’d get stiff as HELLl if I didn’t move something. When I was walking home I thought, I am so happy today sucked so that tomorrow wont.

Also thought, why does floor pressing feel so much easier to me than benching?? Does this mean my lockout/triceps are not really my weak point?? I know I have a weak point because my bench stalls very often. I need to tinker, maybe…

I’ve always preferred visualizing flying out into the audience and beating the crap out of anyone who even looks like they’re going to laugh. 0_o

I like to stare down the people in the audience daring them to try anything.

I have absolutely no rage when working out but I love to get my rage on before performing or presenting.

nlmain: I am sure if I was posting the horror stories from when he was a baby you’d have a different opinion, ha! Babies are hard, kindergardeners are mini versions of you that like doing all the stuff you like doing because they really have no idea what they ACTUALLY like doing. I seriously get excited about 10 years in the future at the possibility he will be spotting me on the bench press though.

Print: presentation went A-OKAY. I can never praise myself TOO much because sometimes my mind goes blank and I totally lose my train of thought. If I look back on what I did last night there are gaps where I can’t remember if I signed things right or if I totally forgot things! It’s weird how that works. I am hoping that means I am just getting a hang of the language so well that it’s becoming like second nature to me, heh.

Patch: I can NOT not give a fuck, I wish i could. I know a lot of other people in class are so laid back and nonchalant about it all, but it’s like my whole world. I live to please my teacher. She is the sweetest most passionate Deaf person ever. I CAN NEVER DISAPPOINT. AHH THE PRESSURE.

I asked my kid if he was interested in taking up a hobby (sport) and he said no because he just wanted to be a paleontologist (sp?). And i said yes, that is for work, but a hobby on the side. he said digging up dino bones was going to be his hobby on the side. SOO I guess he has no interest in anything yet, which sucks. He has too much damn energy and I feel good when I see him being active. OH WELL.

I started to get really close on my OHP and didn’t want to reset until I missed, well, I barely made it a few cycles and even tried to just repeat cycles with little improvement. I finally bit the bullet and reset my max by TWO cycles and now I’m hitting PR’s every time I do OHP and I feel a ton stronger now that I’m working my way back up. Sometimes lighter (faster) weights with more focus on technique really help. How hard are you locking your quads? How about your lats?

As far as the kid goes, with all my nieces and nephews, I just try to expose them to a ton of different things. Powerlifting (exercise), sports, reading for enjoyment, and a bunch of other things besides video games and Sponge Bob. I think just having them around some new concepts and ideas which will prove beneficial in the future is a good idea. He’ll eventually bite on something and run with it when you least expect it.

Sidenote, I’m SOOOO happy my deload is over! :slight_smile:
