Moving to Hawaii: Read This First

Well, not everyone is interested in living on the Big Island. And all cities/states have drug problems, not just the Big Island.

Maui is awesome (went there last year). And would be a great place to live! As would some of the other islands.

However, the locals do take great pride in their land, so sometimes when “howlie’s” show up, they aren’t always welcomed.

They person who wrote this website is spouting off emotional arguments that have no validity. Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Tennesse, Arkansas and a few other midwest states all have worse crystal meth problems as either Indiana or Kentucky had the largest bust of meth labs for 2004.

LOL! Hey, I didn’t say anything about being able to spell it right!!! But I know what a “haole” is!!!

Ah yes, I hear you “brah!” (I heard that quite often.)

this is all kind of tongue in cheek guys, don’t take it so seriously.

lol I love the Big Island…then again I don’t have a link to Dave Chapelle’s Baby’s Mama- Oprah "Mutha Fuckin’ Winfrey on my homepage so there may be many reasons why this goon trashes Big Island.

I was born and raised on O’ahu. Every island has a problem with crystal meth. Maui no doubt has a bad one, as does the Big Island and the other 5 or so islands. But the situation on either island will depend on how you make it. Everyone here has a chance ot make their own piece of heaven and hell. The weak-minded ones choose what most of us might consider hell. They feel defeated and resort to chemical romance to get by.

As far as thorns during camping…we don’t have wild bears, snakes, or most other wild animals like a bunch of mountain lions (there has been a couple of cases of mountain lions in the past 30 yrs). If thorns bother you than get off of T-Nation (but I am sure this wasn’t a major concern). Any local person with common sense would take equipment with them to clear and area- alas “heaven”.

Got any more questions? The volcano? Crap, science has also predicted in 2012 the earth would be struck by a space rock big enough to wipe us out. It’s time to move to Jupiter or something. The only bad thing about living in Hawai’i is having to work hard to live here or just have lots of money to handle. Real Estate is ridiculously priced—thanks to rich people who come to Hawai’i to purchase homes and land and compete the prices to go up. I bought my townhouse for $225K in 2003. Today it’s going for nearly $400K (I rent it out now). My house I got for low $400K, now going for about $700K if I was to sell. This is just for a single-family home with a yard and a driveway.

Oh and the spelling for ha’ole has been wrong for yrs.
