Androsol is 4AD without the ethyl carbonate ester, and Mag-10 contains 4-AD-EC, so, no, don’t use all three. I’d just stay with the Androsol, or stop until you leave and make sure to pack the Mag-10 to use while you are there.
I don’t believe Mag-10 has a full stand-a-lone dose of 4AD. I believe Mag-10 uses a smaller dose of 4AD stacked with the 1AE. You could add either Androsol or 4-AD-EC at a 1/2 dose in addition to a dose of Mag-10 to get the full benefits of 4AD at full dose, in addition to the 1AE. Or use Mag-10 at 2 doses/day for the best of both worlds. MD6 would help to fight fatigue a lot also.
ok sounds good so far. How far in advanced should I start the androsol before the ride?
I’m thinking a few days of 50+sprays 2x a day.
The day I go up to Tahoe which is a Thurday (I’ll riding Fri, Sat, Sun) should be the last day of androsol? I wonder if it would be better if I stopped using androsol on the previous Wednesday and started the Mag-10 on Thurs and then take it through Sunday.
Aside from the Mag-10 directions --do have any recommendations for usage ie: dosage, timing, ect?
I believe Bill has said that blood levels of 4-AD-EC and 1AE peak in 8-12 hours with a half life of about 24 hours or little more. It’s been suggested to front load a double dose of Mag-10 the day before your cycle to build blood levels. If you’re going to ride fri-sun, take a front end loading double dose thursday nite and then I would I would take a full dose twice/day (split morning/evening) on fri-sun.
I just finished a Mag-10 cycle and have been doing some riding. I would have to say that it decreased my stamina because my legs got so pumped so early that when climbing it was almost unbearable.
I returned a couple of weeks ago from a week long mountain bike ride in Spain. I decided against the Mag-10 in the end, and went with 4AD only. I got through the week with no negative effects to muscle mass or too much pump. This was 4-6 hours riding per day for 7 days. My feeling is that Mag-10 may be a little excessive for an endurance activity, though I’m sure it would help fast recovery if that’s an issue, in which case I’d start it a couple of days before the trip.
Yes, I was training legs per the growth surge protocol. But my recovery time was way increased due to Mag-10. And if you have ever taken Mag-10 before (I just finished my first 2 week cycle and gained 12lbs of LBM!) you know that the pumps are out of this world but as far as an indurance sport like mountain biking I would personaly advise against it as the leg pump for a 3 or 4 hour ride can be pretty insane but you will get some big ass quads.
