Motivation

How many of you don’t need to get to lift, but get motivated by lifting?
For example, I’ve eaten 3 solid meals in the last five days. I spent to nights lying in front of my toilet bowl, waiting for the next bout of stomach cramps and vomiting. Yeah, it was fun.

Also, my best friend and I kind of fell for the same girl, and I wimped out so he was first in making a move on her. We both had equal chances in the beginning if we read the signs right, but now he has a date with her and I don’t want to do anything before seeing how it works out.

So, I decided to go through with my planned max-effort day. Obviously it didn’t go through as planned, but I did enough to hit the right muscles hard. And now, I feel almost good. Definitely good enough to see a glimmer of hope.

So, share your stories. If you’re in the right mindset, I believe you don’t need to motivate yourself for the iron. The iron motivates you.

As long as I have the use of my limbs I will always lift. I can’t imagine my life without it. It has so many positive returns on it’s investment that for me it will always be necessary.

Take care,

D

Well endorphines are always a good thing ya know.
