Mother Kicked Out of Gym for 'Training' Her Son

I’ve lived in many places, and one of the things I really like about Maine is the relative lack of total morons here. They’re around, but I just don’t hear about much truly shocking stupidity here.

When I visit my mom in FL I get an eye-opener every night on the evening news. Stuff like Stu’s article. Or some methhead pistol-whipped grandma to steal her meds. Or some form of alligator terror.

Our top stories tend to be more mundane, like “Hey, why is there still ice on the lakes?” or “Be careful folks, there’ s a big pothole on Rt. 4 in Jay.”

One thing seems certain, the morons are good at breeding.

Hmm. I beg to differ. What part of Maine are you in?

I live in the dirty Lew.

Punching electronics is definitely news-worthy, even more so when it turns them back on.

Speaking of punching and morons in Maine, my girlfriend’s friend and her dumbass boyfriend went out with us on Saturday. He got wasted before dinner and managed to start a fight with a ONE-ARMED MAN while waiting in line for the bathroom. I helped the owner throw him out of the bar.

So the morons are here too. Luckily that one has not managed to reproduce yet.

Today’s top story:

Maine blocks EBT cards at ATMs in bars, liquor stores and strip clubs.

Oh why, Maine? You used to be SO COOL to hangout with! What happened?

Any reasonable gym would appreciate her teaching her son proper gym etiquette and training so he wasn’t a liability or an inconvenience to other gym members if/when he starts to train on his own or with friends (who he could then pass said etiquette on to). Basically her good parenting got her the boot from the gym when so many parents who fail to teach their children how to use common sense go unpunished and continue bringing up children who will do dumb and dangerous things in the gym.

Shame on her for patronizing a terrible business. Just kidding. Sort of.

My chain gym allows unlimited access to anyone over 12. I see just as many grown men (and women) using horrific form as teenagers. My 15 year old son lifts better than most grown men, form-wise.

I trust that your son learned his impeccable form from an official PT…

Meh, this is all about the gym trying to gouge it’s members.

It’s her kid not some random dude. Maybe she didn’t want to have him trained by the plethora of shitty trainers in these franchise gyms.

LOL!!! I think this chick was on VH1’s tool academy.

Yeah. I mean, if she was being PAID to train, I’d say ok. But it’s her own son and she’s doing it for free. So she’s not taking anything away from those trainers.

I get the concept, but it doesn’t really fit this scenario.

Mmmmh that’s a proper MILF!

I hope she and her son hit the showers afterwards for his “real” training.
