Most Pain You've Endured?

I was at a wrestling practice for a neighboring county’s high school and we were all going full speed. I was at 189, wrestling the defending 215 state champ, thought it would be good practice. He slammed me, (everyone has said it was illegal, but it doesnt matter- he pwned me) and I ruptured two discs in my back at pinched the nerve that connects hammies to back (ciatic or something like that).

I watched 3 seasons of entourage that weekend, (wrestling was day after Thanksgiving), and made it to practice monday before going to the doc. It was really bad pain even with percs. physical therapy didnt do shit, it wasn’t until I started hitting up the compound lifts again that it started to feel better.

Run over by a car with my bike… Not alive for a while due to break of my aorta. My left leg broke too. Now its made of steel :stuck_out_tongue: But here we are. Lets smile now

Wish you all health above all! Live strong and cherish every moment with your loveones and don’t forget to SMILE

At the end of a backpacking trip where I was drinking only water but hiking in humid heat of the coast for 8-10 hours a day on the North Coast trail before it was ‘built’ making it very strenuous, my electrolytes were fucked up and the first night in the hotel after the hike I had the worst muscle cramping and pain I’ve ever felt. Every single muscle seized up. Combined with headache and nausea, and my hands, face and feet puffed right up. Not pleasant! I didn’t realize at the time but I should have gone to a hospital. Instead I steadily drank club soda and Gatorade.

The worst by far was when I had Viral Meningitis when I was 22 (two months outta the joint). Imagine the lining of your brain just swelling and causing all of your nerves to feel like they were on fire. I was given spinal taps to relieve the cerebral/spinal fluid pressure. I was drifting in and out of a coma for about two months. The pain was indescribable. A constant headache far worse than a migraine that just wont go away. I suffer partial memory loss (prior to ‘96) from the pressure killing some of my brain cells and I got WAY better in math. Fuckin’ weird, huh?

I had a 25 lb pipe wrench fall from an air handler unit and the guy who dropped it said, “hey!”. So I looked up and it hit me in the face. Totally crushed my nose and fractured my cheekbone. I had bone sticking out of my face. I have plastic an cadaver tissue in my face now. That hurt.

I got stabbed five times while in prison. The worst was when there was knife coming toward my neck, and the only thing I could do was reach up and stop it with my hand. I could feel all the tendon’s popping… Like almost slow motion. While it didn’t hurt right away it was a bit disconcerting (three surgeries on my right hand). Another time I was in a fight, and won, and the guy was on the ground, and shanked me in the fucking SHIN! WTF??? That hurt. The other times were just “flesh wounds” that hurt, but not as bad as you think.

Was working on an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) and some asshole decided to start the generator - blew out both elbows with over 100 Amps at 480 volts… That really fucking hurt. For about three years after that, I had a vein that was as hard as a thick rope under my skin. Had various electrical burns from shit blowing up while I was working on it. Though I would be blind once, but my eyes ended up healing with just a few scars that I barely notice now.

Playing rugby I was in a long-body ruck and two props fell on me and I ended up ripping my rotator cuff off the bone, tearing my pec and anterior delt. Two screws and a half inch of bone off the clavicle later…

Three knee surgeries - meh, not that bad.

Got jumped by a gang of dudes when I was 14 and they stomped me so bad, my mother didn’t recognize me in the hospital. Broke my neck, nose, ribs, etc… fucked me up bad.

There’s more, but I gotta go get some food.
How are you still alive? Are you Bruce Willis from Unbreakable? My goodness - you’ve had some painful experiences. Too many for one man I say.
Nah, man! I just grew up in Baltimore (where I got jumped), went to Prison (where I got stabbed), became a commercial electrician who was smart enough to do some of the more interesting work out there (and dumb enough to do some of it “hot”), played rugby and was good enough to play at a decent level (and got the knee surgeries and shoulder surgeries as a result of not being a pussy). As for the Meningitis, THAT was some serious fucked up luck! (or you could say that “god” rewired my brain for something…)

Sincere question. Did you sell your soul to Lucifer?

From what I’ve read you’ve had more pain, served more time, fucked more chicks, and made money than most people on here or whom I’ve ever met in my life.
I’ve had a pretty interesting life. I attribute much of it to the fact that I’ve done more dumb shit and made far many more mistakes than the average person (and lived to tell about it, LOL).

Jesus dude. You’d think from this list you would look like Quasimodo or something. Haha. And there I was talking about my broken finger. hahaha

I can’t compare to most of this shit on here.

 1. Broken ring finger, spiral fracture, playing flag football. Grabbed the flag but my finger went sideways on the dudes hip. That wasn’t that painful, kind of numb, dull pain. What hurt like hell was when the doc formed the splint to put on it. He crushed it around my finger to get it in the proper position. The nurse asked what was wrong with me because I immediately went pale, started sweating profusely, and started tearing up. I couldn’t believe the pain. 3 surgeries later, still not perfect as I can’t straighten completely and it’s swollen for good.

 2. Inflamed nerve/vein in my testicles. This felt like I was getting kneed in the groin every time I moved. I suffered the stomach pain and vomit temptations for 3 days while I waited for this to go away. If my boxers even grazed my nuts I thought I was going to hurl. Jerking off actually helped the situation. Ended up getting an ultrasound of my nuts and hanging out in the hospital for a few days. All I needed was a heavy dose of Ibuprofen.

 3. Completely bit through my tongue when I was younger. Playing on a swing set, fell off (possibly standing on seat), head landed right on teh seat directly under my chin. Blood EVERYWHERE. I was actually able to turn my tongue inside out for a little while. I got to eat ice cream like it was my job tho. Healed up pretty well but I can still show you the spot on my tongue.
Dude, that finger looked NASTY! I showed you my hand - it DOES look like Quasimodo! LOL Good times!

26 stitches - one finger.

^OK that looks painfull anything to do with the hand(since you use it for everything) is a beeyatch.

I need to change mine to reading the last page of the TK thread. That was painfull

OK since pics have been posted it’s time for my formerly broken foot!

Calf atrophy. (Notice Atomic Dog in background)

Right dot under big toe is where the bone popped through (not the big toe metatarsals, the index toe metatarsal, it popped to the side or some shit).

That’s a fat foot

One more to gross you out. Three huge pins, took them out with no numbing with pliers (except the last one). Why the Doc did this, I have no idea, it hurt like a bitch.

Had spinal surgery a few years back…27 hr procedure and then 3 weeks in the hospital. Had to re-learn how to walk, etc. That kinda sucked.

I was kicked in the shoulder by a donkey/horse when I was a little kid (can’t remember which). Served me right for pinching its behind. 15 years later, the shoulder still hurts.

It was fucking brutal and it was quick. That and the fact that I must’ve done a 540 through the air and landed with my face on a parked car. The humiliation was intense.

Couldn’t seem to move the joint for weeks.
U got donkey punched!
How does is feel to get P’owned by an ASS?

You better check what i wrote mate
I skipped the details cause most people can’t handle it… 3 weeks only? at least you got to walk normal again? wish you the best my friend

Worst pain…

 1. Broken hand/fingers, broke it on a guy’s eye socket on the third punch, kept throwing it at others until the fight was over, probably the worst pain Ive ever felt, repeatedly punching with a shattered hand is horrible no matter how angry you are.

 2. Blown out Knee, meniscus tear.

 3. Torn tendons in arm.
