Worst Pain You Ever Had?

What’s the worst physical pain you have ever experienced?

I’ll start it off.

  1. I had mono that put me out of commission for an entire summer. I had it real bad. I got a multitude of viruses and other health problems all summer. It was like an incessant onslaught of hell for 3 months.

  2. I got hit by a car (by a friend of mine!) when I was a senior in high school. The following 2 weeks (during which I could not swivel my neck) were not pleasant.

  3. For some reason, toothaches and earaches always seem to get to me. Currently it’s almost 4 A.M. and I can’t sleep because of an ear infection. Hence, the reason for this post.

So…what’s the worst physical pain you have ever experienced?

I once had a tooth drilled with no novacaine. Which is to say, I got the shot, but by the time he brought out the drill, my gums were no longer numb.

That was easily the most painful thing I have ever experienced.

A fairly close second would be when I got what I can only describe as a 2nd degree sunburn on my chest and shoulders. Pain lasted for at least a week, including going delirious from dehydration.

Oh yeah, and I had a finger nail ripped off once.

Herniated Disk, L5-S1. Didn’t hurt when I did it, but 4 hours later after the tissues swelled and the nerves were getting squished it felt like ground glass in my back, and knives repeatedly being stabbed into my hip and calf - for weeks.

Couldn’t move at all for two weeks, had to crawl to the loo and it hurt for about two months.

Wife said I was a bit cranky during that.

That would be hyperextending my knee. Unbelievable. I’d rather be kicked in the balls.

  1. A toothache! I dislike them especially because after awhile I will get a headache.

  2. When my back is completely out. This is painful. It hurts just to breathe. This has happened a few times in the past year. It was so bad that I could barely walk. Sadly it was in the grocery store so I couldn’t lay down. Just had to keep walking.

  3. Smashing your finger. I have had accidents closing the sliding glass door and when I accidentally smash my finger, that is absolutely painful. It is more painful than when I actually broke my finger a few years back.

abcess in my foot, I had it surgically removed in the end and it was the size of a golf ball across, under my little toe on the ball of my foot.

after they cut it out the hole went deep enought to see bone.

The night before I had it removed I was working and had to drive home that was really bad.

I had a growth moved outa the back of my head…ouch. the drugs wore off half way through the operation.

toothache for a solid week. the pain ended up spreeding to my collarbone.

Cartilage piercing in my ear. Totally worse than getting hit by that car two or three years ago. It actually dulled the pain of getting my lip pierced.

In gym in second grade, we had to hop across the gym on one foot. Needless to say, I fell forward, and smashed my two front permanent teeth on the concrete floor. That hurt a little bit.

trying to walk the 1-2 days after doing 500 bodyweight squats in a row

Kicked a guy in the head once (competition TKD fight) and screwed the kick.

I knocked him out but broke all five toes on my right foot doind it. That stung a bit.

Compressed disc in my lower back was very nasty indeed.

Last memorable one was lowering a 115lb db at speed and not noticing that some twonk had let his db roll near my bench. My finger got pulverised between the two.

Finished my workout though.

Toothache had 4 compacted wisdom teeth, had to have two operations to have them removed. I did’nt sleep for nearly two weeks getting a few hours. Started hallucinating and was in horrible pain. The rebound headaches coming off strong painkillers where no walk in the park either.

1- Needed a Cortizone shot deep into my ankle and because of the callouses/skin thickness, or the location they needed to get at, they had to use a 3" needle and go straight into the bottom of my foot with no anesthetic.

2- An ex GF asked me to get ‘tested’ to be on the safe side, so I just told the doctor to test me for ‘everything’ (big smile). I found that the only thing worse than having a very long swab inserted into the shaft of your member, is knowing that they will have to do it a second time just to be certain.

S

Once upon a time I had an infection and had to get a catheter inserted into my bladder through my urethra. I cried like a bitch, but I was only 4 years old at the time. Everything since then has been a piece of cake.

I had a kidney stone; it felt like some one was sticking a telephone pole in my belly button, splinters and all

I’ve heard that those are one of the most painful things a person can go through.

Finding out I have a high tolerance for anesthetics and painkillers 20 minutes after getting my wisdom teeth removed.

Ran around the house screaming and beating on the walls and then the stuff they sent me home with kicked in and I woke up on the bathroom floor the next day.

I weas working on a deck and forgot to put the saftey on the nail gun and wound up nailing the heel of my new boots to my foot, I got my head stapled no novacaine

I’m a cautious person. Never broken a bone.

I think the most painful thing for me is the time I had a potassium deficiency, and I started getting cramps all over my body in the middle of the night.
