Mosley/Mayweather announced

Shane Mosley has already signed the contract and agreed to unlimited blood and urine testing. All the the terms have been agreed to by both sides and Mayweather should be signing his contract soon. Here’s the article on ESPN: Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather Jr. agree to fight - ESPN

I can’t wait for this fight, I actually think this is a better fight than Floyd-Pacman. If Shane looks the way he did against Margarito, I give him a very good chance.

I feel it’ll be a better fight, not only that but Mosley has been trying to fight Mayweather for quite a few years now.

Plus this can build to a match between the winner of this fight and the Pacquiao/Clottey fight.

Wasn’t that Pacquaio/Cotto and Marquez/Mayweather?

I’m really looking forward to watching Mayweather/Mosley. If Mosley can bring more than his A game, he can come away with it. I am a part of the I-just-want-to-see-Mayweather-lose, but I really think Mosley can do it.

It was supposed to be.

If Mosley just continues the be the more aggressive fighter throughout the whole fight he could definitely win on points. After all, his title will be on the line.

Floyd has finally signed the contract and the fight is a go!

Good, im glad Floyd has decided to fight an actual welterweight, and the first time hes been picking on someone his own size since de la hoya. I admit I am one of those guys who always roots for floyd to lose, i just think he wasted a lot of talent not fighting the best and claiming to be, plus he needs a serious attitude adjustment… Unfortunately though, i think mayweathers got himself in a lose-lose here. Say he beats Shane, people will say, yeah big deal Shane was 38…completely forgetting what shane did to Margarito, who whether people like it or not was one of the top dogs at welter. and if he loses, man hes gonna catch so much shit for losing to an “old man”

Ill be rooting for shane in this one, hes definatly got what it takes to beat floyd, but if floyd does as well against welterweights as he has done against his recent midgets, and gets Joe Cortez, and smcks Mosley with enough of his favorite left elbow to the face-right cross combos, hes got this one in the bag.
