More TBT Questions

I just began Total Body Training, and after reading a little more on the subject it seems like the general consensus is the body part splits are better if you can put in the time. I didn’t start TBT because I don’t have time for body part splits, I started it because I want to put on mass the best way I can.

Logic dictates that it would be a waste of time to do a TBT routine every day, but would it make sense to do 2 sessions per day, 3 days a week? What do most people who have tried TBT do, if they want to hit the weights more than 3x a week?

Stick to TBT exactly how it is, I did it and had great gains. Althought I didn’t go through the whole program. I stopped where the reps started getting a lot higher more frequently…around week 7 I think i stopped. Either way though, its a greatt program to start on man, I’d give it a go.

While doing the program, you’ll also see where you are in strength and all that kinda stuff. So after the program it’ll be easier to determine what you should do next.

Alwyn Cosgrove’s and Lou Schuler’s book “The New Rules of Lifting” incorporates plenty of full body programs from Fat loss, to hypertrophy, and strength. Might be something you want to check out.

look at Waterbury’s 2x4 muscle. It starts with 2 workouts a day twice a week, I think this would be a good place to start.

Many people have gotten very big and strong doing full body workouts so don’t think you can’t.
