I’m with Live, Iron and Doug…after I train I’m pretty wicked wrecked. I go home, have a shake, shower then food. I’m barely awake enough for sex.
I think that lifting + lots of sex = more calmness and that lifting - lots of sex = more pissed off. That being said; more of you dudes need to get laid.
I have “the stupids” when I’m at the gym and afterwards though.
I always get this rush from a good session. I feel like I’m on top of the world. It’s like I’m goddamn unstoppable for the next three hours or so. It’s also got a pretty good effect on my sex drive…not that I ever put it to much use

Absolutely. I just generally feel much more aggressive and easily angered after I work out.
One day after training a guy at the coffee shop (Tim Hortons) thought I was jumping the line and grabbed my arm and tried to pull me back. He got yelled at for a loooong time. Sadly, I think I looked like the crazy one at the end of it. It was my turn anyway :)[/quote]
IMO, he’s lucky that’s all you did. A complete stranger doing something like that deserves a fist in the face.

Afterwards I am pretty beat. I go in the evening after work so I think I have become use to getting home and starting the decompress ASAP. Maybe my body has wired itself to start the shut down process a little sooner.

You can’t be serious. This is something I’d expect to find on bodybuilding.com forums. Way to perpetuate the notion that all serious lifters are angry meatheads.
Meatheads = dumb
Angry = angry
This is about feeling aggressive after a session.
As for me, I feel more aggressive on the way to the gym, and better after a workout is over…

Is that the bull in your avatar from the documenty “Bigger Faster Stronger”? If so that bull and the pitbull in the other guys avatar should Fight!!!
I think it depends what kind of training session you just had. If I’m going heavy on squat, bench, or deadlift, then I’m going to feel like going to sleep in my car in the parking lot after it’s over. But if it’s an upper-body accessory day then I’ll feel a little better than normal after I leave the gym.

Thanks for the concern, but I’m doing just fine in that respect, Chief
