Monthly Supplement Bill

Hello all, I was thinking about my monthly supplement bill and what I can afford month to month now. I’ve come to the conclusion I can’t afford the ANACONDA protocol every month being a student in college and I’m trying to come up with a solution. I figured I can still afford my normal 200$ a month, but 350$ is just too much. Comparing what I get for 200$ and 345$ I came up with this.

For 200$ a month I can get the following
1 Creatine
1 L-Leucine
4 Metabolic Drive Complete
1 Surge Workout Fuel
1 Surge Recovery

For 345$ a month I can get
The ANACONDA protocol

I’m absolutely torn between this decision. I’ve allready purchased the ANACONDA protocol but have yet to try it so that will factor into my future decision also. I know the protocol comes with everything listed on my 200$ list but it also costs 150$ more. Have any of you thought about this? I’m kind of a “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” kind of guy and I’m very interested to find out the results each protocol will provide me.

I wish Biotest would come out with an alternate protocol package that contains the Surge products, Alpha-GPC, and FINiBARs. I know it would really help me out b/c down the road I will not be able to afford the ANACONDA protocol month in and month out.

Even though I will not be using ANACONDA till January, I buy my supps a month in advance and I’m absolutely clueless to what my next order will consist of.

Why not wait until you see how you respond to the ANACONDA Protocol before making a decision?

Otherwise, it just seems like worrying for the sake of worrying.

HEY!

Stop being reasonable…

I posted this before but will post it again

You can make the ANACONDA/MAG-10 last for 22 workouts instead of 16 by simply doing this

6 workout @ 3scoops ANACONDA 2scoops MAG-10
16 workouts @ 2scoops ANACONDA 3scoops MAG-10

You will just need a bit more FINiBARs if you decide to go 3/workout or you could possibly set things up so that you get enough FINiBARs for 22 workouts FOR YOUR FIRST PURCHASE

As far as Alpha-GPC is concerned, once you bought the protocol, you will have plenty left

So basically, your FIRST purchase would come to 345$ but than would drop to 340$ IF you didnt buy Alpha-GPC but decided to buy 6 box of FINiBARs in order to have enough for 24 workouts

That’s a good point thank you. I’m only worried about it now b/c I allways buy supps a month in advance and will be ordering them in a week or so. I’ve crunched all the numbers and honestly it’s just better to buy the ANACONDA protocol, no way around it. Even if it costs a few dollars more the convienence it provides is worth it.

I’ll be ordering another protocol and some Flameout and do my best to stretch the 2 packages I’ll have over 3 months. Thank you for that breakdown zraw

What is your reasonning behind buying another full protocol instead of

2 ANACONDA
2 MAG-10
6 Box of FINiBARs (which makes 24 workouts)
for 340$?

Instead of the full protocol

2 ANACONDA
2 MAG-10
2 Alpha-GPC (Which you will still have a bottle)
1 nalgene bottle (which you already have)
4 Box of FINiBARs (which will last you 16 workouts if you get 3bars/workout)

I will order it like that, that’s a good plan.

If you cant EASILY afford supplements i personally wouldn’t be buying them unless you plan on making a career out of the outcomes of working out.

Each to their own and all that but some of the stuff i read around actually makes me sad.

I have no problem at all affording two bills a month on supps. Honestly, I wish I could afford more. Zraw has a good plan there, with that method my monthly costs stay nearly the same. All is well and I am now at ease.

Thanks fellas.

Lol, I might spend $130-150 a month on sups, and that includes roughly 10-12lbs of protein powder. (Excluding anything I buy to try out.)

Dude, try food first.

Think you may have missed the point mate, but good luck

My supplement bill is maybe 30 bucks a month

Nah I know what you mean. We had a saying where I worked “If you have to ask yourself if you can afford it, it’s too much.”

I was seriously questioning wether I could afford the ANACONDA protocol. I can handle 650 every 3 months which equals out to what I’m paying now monthly.

Nowhere did I state how much how much I spend on groceries monthly either, I feast like a king. Biotest gets the remainder of surplus funds. I apologize if it offends any of you, I wasn’t trying to.

Just a guess here, Costco EAS 6lbs. Am I right? If so I feel for ya man. I need the Surge products like a crackhead needs a fix. That’s how much they help me.

Thank you for your replies everyone.

I use a serving of creatine, fish oil, and average about 2 servings of whey each day. This comes out to just under $42 each month. Although sometimes I’ll use an extra serving of whey or use a ZMA product if I’m cutting weight.

Also, Thibs basically DID lay out a protocol uses the Surges and FINiBARs, and all kinds of people were trying it before Anaconda was released.

I know it’s bad, Surge workout fuel is the only thing that gets me through those dreaded leg days and I really can’t imagine training without it anymore during those times.

I’m also addicted to the sweetness of original Surge recovery. I absolutely love it, especially first thing in the morning before breakfast.

That’s what I meant about being an if it’s not broke, don’t fix it kind of guy. I’ve been using the original protocol with great success. If I’m not able to afford the ANACONDA protocol at any time I will be utilizing the original and was comparing the costs.

However, if I stretch it like zraw explained I can span the 685$ price tag over 3 months which equals the same as I’m paying out now.

The next time I order the entire package it’d be cool if they let us have a t-shirt or something in place of second bottle.
