Honestly, which one would we rather do? For anybody on this current protocol, lemme know if the money is worth it. I’ll defnitely be looking through more supplement protocols and posting them to see what people thought about them then and what they think now. I’d especially would like CT’s opinion on this thread.

way more effective yes, but 5x more effective and yields way more gains? in other words, does it justify spending 10-15x more money?[/quote]
10-15x as much? The Surge Recovery, Surge Workout Fuel, FINiBARS and Alpha-GPC cost 97$ a month if you follow those recommendations and train 4x a week and use it every sessions. You’d need a little over a pound of CH for the whole month as well, which I’ve seen for $18/pound and 2$28/pounds. So just assume you use the more expensive stuff, then that protocol cost you about $125 a month for use every one of your 4 weekly training sessions.
Hell, lets just for fun throw in some L-Leucine powder, at around 5g in your during WO shake and your +60 CH shake. Thats gonna run you about 160g a month or about 1/3 of a pound, which can be had for $12/pound so only $4 a month.
So for that whole protocol, you’re looking at about $130 a month. It’s definitely doable.
alright provided I buy two of everything to save more money, at a month’s supply we’re using $24 for Alpha-GPC, $27 for FINiBAR, $68 for Surge Workout Fuel, $54 for Surge Recovery, and we’ll use your cheapest rate for ch even though the only ch i’ve found is for $30 per lb. But your ch will come out to $42 if each serving is 4 g of protein. we’re already looking at $215 per month.
Honestly, I would never spend that much money on supplements unless of course more than a few people tell me it’s either 5x faster at reaching results or 5x better results. I am not trying to argue, but if you’re in the U.S. during the recession, your money DEFINITELY NEEDS TO BE WORTH IT.
Never mind. It used to be Metabolic Drive!, but i guess it’s now low-carb Metabolic Drive. and after further analysis, the old protocol calls for…$184. OUTRAGEOUS.
despite my stand against expensive supplementation, i am willing to change should something get my attention. For those of you who will never try it, you will never know. You can be the ones to say "you gain only gain 10 lb lean muscle(or whatever muscle from whoever), but you will look like complete fools and make science look bad, and a new age of bodybuilding will rise up. I still won’t spend a lot of money until after a bunch of people have tried it, but if it delivers I’ll become one of the people to say, “I Bodybuilder. Nervous System is Boss.”

Aiya that’s incredible. That’s more than what should be expected. but for anyone interested, CT took Metabolic Drive during the time i’m saying. go to his find all posts, go to page 528 click on the thread, “new pics”, go to page 2 of that thread and that post will be there. I’m going to keep trying till this is posted right.
CT took low -carb grow damn it. look it up before you change my writing. I’m not trying to be stupid, but I have absolutely no idea why you want to turn my post into a lie.

I think your math is a little off.
the protocol with 2 of each equals $120/month, doing 4x wk
You don’t need all that stuff. Get some whey, Fish oil & maybe some BCAA’s.
You can get Plain unflavoured whey in bulk for little money. Also make sure to buy your fish oil in liquid form, it’s much cheaper and far stronger per serving.

You don’t “need” whey, fish oil, or BCAA either.
With that said, I’ve been experiencing the best results I’ve had since being a newbie since I started following CT’s peri-workout protocol.
I’ve had more than one person recently accuse me of being on the juice, although I’m not.

just curious also, what does unflavored whey taste like?
Waterbury said that he’d never seen gains better than a Surge workout fuel 10 mins before then sipped and anaconda twice after. So if this protocol is to expensive maybe try this one when the latter is available. The protocol rocks and I’m three weeks in. Many men can count the cost but few can measure worth.

how would it look like in a peri-workout protocol?

You’re right I only counted for one FINiBAR a session instead of two. Other than that though you only need one bottle of each Surge, which is now even more reasonable after they dropped prices.
To the OP, sure it may seem a little steep, but you need to take in to account that a lot of people here are very dedicated to getting good results and a lot of times they don’t really do anything else extravagent with their money, and since training is their passion, they don’t find it ridiculous to spend a few hundred dollars on making gains in what they love. Many other people spend that on much less useful things.
