As always, I enjoyed the video. I also learned how to make youtube videos unlisted. Thanks!

You really seem to be getting your Oly lifts squared away.[/quote]
Oh Joe - there’s soooooo much work that needs to be done on these lifts. I’m getting better and quickly, as these things go, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.
I foam rolled my right armpit and right glute/hamstring tie-in. That was a whole new version of pain, breaking loose whatever’s in there. I’m going to need to keep doing that for a while.

Indeed. I’m sure there are delicious examples of the archetype in the private reserve.
Certainly. Who knows, but the discovery of the “unlisted” option might make me feel more…uninhibited. I get some odd creeper comments from the youtube peanut gallery.

you can also disable comments - how does the unlisted thing work?
I always select unlisted. Then only those with a link can view my vids.
I gotta say, you must have really intimidated that guy in the rack next to you. Maybe you could give him a few pointers?
I was rooting for you on that single. Lots o’ hard work there.

Maybe so. I don’t pay attention to what other people are doing in the gym anymore, unless they’re posing a danger to me or others. These guys always have “very good reasons” for doing half squats so I don’t try to proselytize any more.
I almost gave up on that single, but then I literally heard a voice in my head that said “Fuck THAT!” and so kept pushing it up.
armpit pain seems like a whole new world of pain. ugh!.
and a beautiful grind that was. kinda like slowdancing with the barbell…
Awesome work.
A 30 lb squat PR is massive.
Hey! A few days late, but I think those snatches (145 x 2) looked really good!
And nice mental strength on the squat PR.
I thought that yesterday’s lifting would be a bit of a break due to the drop in volume on the main lift, but I feel like I’ve been run over by a PMS’ing caterpillar tractor today and I got that creaky done-too-much malaise. I think I need a lifting time-out. Arms feel like they’re nailed into my shoulders with crooked 2-penny nails, poorly, and the old knees are begging to live with someone else.
I think some light and fast reps days are in order.
WOW! Nice squat. REALLY nice squat. That was a sweet piece of video.

Thanks C_K. I was just pleased that it was an honest squat. I tend to cut depth on high bar squats when it gets heavy.
That was one badass squat, Tony. Talk about not giving up on a lift.
Way to fight thru that squat cuz! IT AINT THE MASTER OF YOU!
