Stayed low poundage on snatches and worked on hitting the positions. I’m going to have to go up slowly on these, dammit. I think the further I get the bar back over my head the lower I can catch it, to a point of course. I can’t go low if the bar is forward - the balance is all wrong.
No belt on squats until the last set. Back was feeling tweaky by then.
Best double
Snatch Pull - jumping too early. Again.
Its really cool to see the weight flying up over your head. It doesn’t seem like it should be possible, but yet there it goes.
you are one of the few people I’ve seen who can pull of wearing a singlet T.
and wasn’t your garaged cleaned a few weeks ago ![]()

That’s what makes Carl’s videos so mesmerizing - not only is the weight much, much heavier, but it also looks effortless in execution.

The difference between garage and garbage is a matter of simply letting it “b.”

Just about forever. He doesn’t yak about it much (at all, actually) but he’s a national record holder for masters Oly lifting in his weight class.

Got enough to eat today so I had an itching to lift - which I indulged. My traps are being so sore now, oh yes.
Armageddon tired just from reading about all the lifting going on in here.
Nice work- and good to see you having so much fun
Carl is superb
What I would like to say to those people who claim that they “will start working out” and what a good idea it is, but who invariably never do it:
“As long as you’re giving lip service, why don’t you blow me?”
I think you could get a few people to blow you.
Just saying.
