congrats on your 1st place!
love the one judgeās reason for failing a missed lift ābad_attireā[/quote]
Damn good work TOny, but yeah seriously whatās bad attire? Did you lift in a purple jumpsuit?
Really awesome C&J.
Bad attire is any piece of clothing that allows the lifter to either cheat or makes it so the judge canāt determine whatās going on. Iāve judged a couple of these meets and if someoneās shorts are too baggy or completely black, you canāt always tell if they made depth.
The rules also state what clothing is allowed/permissable. Some folks donāt read the rules, apparently.
As to why I got a ābad attire failureā, I think someone was mucking around there. I so clearly failed the lift they probably just clicked a fault at random. Bad attire usually goes across all the lifts and lifters have bombed out purely on that.

Theyāre feeling better. My split gets shorter as I get tired, I notice.
Iām going to become one with the squat snatch soon, I feel.
Here, in metal womenās underwear, Yoda is.

Uhm, no - I just caught a lucky break this meet. Jeff is going to clean my clock next meet if I donāt get some serious skillz in the meantime.
I believe.
I know that one day, perhaps soon, that the ability to squat snatch will come suddenly upon me. On that day, yea, there will be rejoicing and a tintabulation of celebrating - for verily, my snatch numbers will rapidly elevate.
So mote it be.

The Holy Book of the Transcendent Translucent.
Great work, DCA, great work.

Snatches
75x1,1+5OHS
95x1, 1+5 OHS
115x1,1+5OHS,2
135xa bunch only 2 of which were caught below parallel
142.5x1
I WILL snatch bodyweight!!!
Front Squats
185x3
215x3
245x2
265x1
270x1 (smidge too high)
225x3,3 (all the way down)
Gotta work on keeping my upper back straight on these.
Push Press
185x2
195x1
200x1
205x1
175x5 (This may be a PR, but I dunno)
Snatch Grip RDL
235 5x2, 8x1
Neutral Grip pullups
BWx5
+50 5x3
Not bad. Snatch is being caught lower each session, but Iām still not there. Taped my thumbs for SGRDLs and blew a bunch of blood vessels on the back of the first knuckles. Looks pretty cool. Strength lifts are holding steady, havenāt lost much, if anything, on them even with the oly lifting.
Huge front squat!

Is it really? It seems low to me, but thanks for the encouragement!

Thanks for stopping in, Frenchie-girl.
I had to fight it - I was terrified it was going to LAND on me.
Itās wild-hair eve. Canāt train tomorrow and wanted some volume anyway, so today I did a singles circuit for an hour:
Clean Grip Deadlift 365
Overhead press 145
DB Curl 55ās
1x25 sets
A little slow, but my conditioning isnāt so good. None of the lifts were hard, but the fatigue starts eating into your resolve.

I think so and especially for your weight. Those damn front squats arenāt easy. Itās a bit more than your bodyweight, so pretty strong!
Maybe Santa Claus will bring you something extra special for your hard work.
Merry Christmas
