Not really looking forward to hitting the gym because I feel like I cannot do it… but I am determined to preserve as much strength as possible during this fast and I did hit my numbers, even a little increase on some accessories compared to last round. Yay!
Ah I see. My friend Colin has had a load of stomach problems which, despite years of different tests, continue to be diagnosed. He’s done the barium meal thing and they make him fast every time he has to have a test. What a pain!
prebiotic - I take the live ones in a small container of cultured yogourt. They are much more lively than in pill form. dosage says a minimum of 50 billion live active acidophilus and L. casei bacteria per portion.
enzymes - a mix of papain (450), bromelain (60mg) and Amylase (30mg). In case of a bad night (like christmas gorging) I double the dose.

Juice fast ended prematurely because I made myself seriously ill. Now juicing part of the day and eating (yummy protein mostly). I am feeling weak in the lifting cave tho. Accessories are going well, but main lifts even when I match prefasting number just feel so hard!! I did completely kick the caffeine habit so now I am lifting without caffeine, and haven’t even been using nose tork.

I compete in raw powerlifting meets a couple times per year. There is one in November which I am threatening to compete in now. Unfortunately my current maxes are not what they were last time I competed so I am desperately focused on making a powerful comeback. I also compete in a lot of our gym’s local meets also (pump and runs, womanathalons etc) when I can.
My goals…
Short term, get lifetime PR’s back. 250 DL (I’m up to 235). 190 BS (175 current). 130 Bench (125 current).
Long term: 275 DL, 225 BS, 135 BP
Lifetime goal: 315 DL, 250 BS, 150 BP
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant so these goals may take a very long time to achieve, however I intend to lift while pregnant so hopefully it will be a small stallout in my goals.
