glad someone caught that, haha! ![]()
In New Zealand for 2 weeks… minimal computer access… home in a week! Might be back on before then, but definitely then! =D Thanks for stopping by! =D =D =D
P.S. Going Paragliding off the side of a mountain tomorrow morning! YIPPEE!
new zealand AND paragliding! jealous!! have fun molly. u’ll have to share a couple pics when u get home. =+)
oh damn! That sounds like fun! ![]()
Have an awesome time! I’m envious of the paragliding. When I was in Korea in September I did a 405 foot vertical zipline off a tower and that was fucking terrifying, but also awesome. I love the white knuckle stuff.
CBear - yes, it’s always fun to front squat more than the guys are back squatting. But to be fair… he WAS doing more reps than I was! Don’t you know quarter squats are EXHAUSTING? Not to mention the effort that the grunting takes! =D
P.S. I will have to get pricing from Sax for activating the glutes… you haven’t offered that one yet…
RCfromdb - 405 from the top of the knees? CRAZY! You are a beast! And yes… the bruises will be killer!
Kimba - Thanks! I was pleasantly surprised myself! Considering several weeks ago 185 almost buried on a back squat… =( Oh well… it takes time to get healthy and get back to where I was…
Skye - Thanks! It’s good to be back, if only sporadically for right now! =D
Alisa - yes! That’s why this forum is so awesome! You get to read about everyone else… be slightly jealous and call them a dirty whore under your breath… and then be ridiculously inspired by them and go lift your ass off! =D
Mominmd - yes, CBear is always trying to sneak in her sexual advances without my boyfriend knowing… (he gets jealous =D)
OK… so the whole experience was kick ass! The way you “start” is to run down and off the side of a mountain and hope that your parachute catches the wind =D (the “pilots” we did this with have each been doing this for 10+ years… so they knew when to go to catch the wind). HOWEVER, the woman who went before us (us being my Mother and me) her parachute got tangled halfway and she had to STOP RUNNING and her pilot was holding her off the edge while he untangled the chute… EEK! So that was what we saw right before we took off! =P
But anyway, your pilot yells “1, 2, 3!” and you start a fast forward walk into a jog down and off the side of the mountain and then once you’re up, your pilot has incredible control over where you go! We sailed around the tops of the trees and it was GORGEOUS! Honestly the first part was the scariest! Once I was up, it didn’t feel scary at all! So we sailed around for a bit, did a couple of corkscrew turns and landed safely on the ground! It was very cool and well worth the money! =D
My REAL favorite reason that I am in New Zealand… my 5 month old chunky, thoroughly bite-able niece Ella!
Oh yeah… please ignore the hair in the above picture… we traveled for 30+ hours and I needed a shower!

OK… one more… I can’t resist she just looks too cute in this one!

What? You look gorgeous.
So jealous of the paragliding. I’ll love to jump off a mountain!

UGH, Molly…there are a bunch of ugly names I could swing your way out of pure envy but I’ll save that for Claire.
You are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo daaaaaaaaaaaaaaammnn lucky!!!
Jealous that you got to jump off a mountain and go floating around for awhile! Looks amazing!
you look SO much better in a crash helmet than I do!
actually.
ya know, before i read your ridiculous disclaimer, i was think how absolutely beautiful you are in that pic with ella. Its my Molls that I know and love! And you’re so happy holding that tiny little chunk!
no one can ever tell you to ‘go jump off a cliff!’
You are beautiful Molly, inside and out! So you have familia in New Zealand? Interesting!
