You two fine (and by fine, I mean FINE) ladies must cause quite a commotion.
Shit. I better work on my Kroc’s. Otherwise a) you’ll call me names and hurt my feelings or b) Ouro might show up with her knife and jar. I don’t relish either thought.

we would, but the men we lift with are the ones throwing around 500 and 700lbs at a time, so they tend to garner a bit more attention.
the guy watching molls do her krocs said, after I shut off the camera, “I think you were sandbaggin it with that 70lb.”
I said ya, that’s her warmup.
EDIT: molly won’t call you names and hurt your feelings, but I will.
But I’ve rethought posting it in the Bodybuilding forum. I suspect they’ll miss the point and just bitch about the intricacies of the Kroc row and call each other ghey and so on. You know, the usual stuff.

No, you’re mistaken. They don’t miss the point. the bitching and ghey calling is to blatantly ignore the fact that a hot blond woman wearing makeup and pearls can row more than they can. effing brotards. put your collars/tweezers/tanning lotion down and pick up a db.

so basically… any guys out there weighing 170, should be Kroc Rowing AT LEAST the 180’s for 10 or they are a FCKING PSSY and don’t train as hard as I do! =D (110/.6 = 183.3333)
I’ve sent an email to my gym asking for 200’s.
Sweetie, why don’t you stick with the 70s for now…
Giterdone - thanks! I was pretty excited about it! I feel like I keep surprising myself! And yes, I must admit I love making the guys feel inadequate when I row more than them… ;D\
DDot - thanks! Do you think your gym will get the 200’s? Are they usually pretty receptive to requests for equipment? I think ours only go up to 150 or 160… 200’s would be awesome!
So I de-loaded last week and started a new round of 5/3/1 this week. I have decided to choose exercises that I think are FUN right now, as opposed to choosing exercises where I am weak/need work. I have had several weeks of crappy workouts and right now I have more energy and I really just want to HAVE FUN when I go in and train. So… for the next 4-5 weeks I will be doing lifts that make me REALLY HAPPY! =D
Monday 6/22/09
Barbell Box Squats (255 max, using 230 as my max)
5 @ 175 lbs
5 @ 185 lbs
8 @ 200 lbs <---- PR for reps! =D

I doubt it. Right now they go to 120lbs and there a few of us who have asked for them up to 150. I was being a little facetious about the 200’s, just given my bodyweight and being male and all. Wouldn’t want to be ‘outworked’ by a girl.
For heavy iso rowing I use the HS machine now and can get close to 200lbs/arm. Not the same when it’s a horizontal pull though. Something about heavy weight + gravity that just can’t be replicated.
Hey DDot! Oh… haha… guess a lot is lost over the internet… you know, inflection and all that important stuff! So you like my little equation up there that puts a little more perspective on how much you dudes SHOULD be lifting? Nice, huh? =D
And yes, I am starting to feel a bit better. No huge changes yet… but I see my Dr. again on Monday… YAY! =D

Good to hear!
And yes, it does put things into perspective. I guess us dudes SHOULD be pulling our socks up.
Had a good Bench Workout yesterday… as I mentioned before I want to do exercises that are FUN right now… not necessarily ones that I need a lot of work on. Since my workouts have been SH*T for the last month or so… I just want to focus on things that I really enjoy.
Flat BB Bench Press (max = 150-ish, using 140 as my max per 5/3/1)
5 @ 105 lbs
5 @ 110 lbs
8 @ 120 lbs <---- PR for reps! =D
Kroc Rows (dropped weight a little to get reps in the 20-30 range)
25 reps @ 80 lb DBs
Yes ma’am! I am going to take tomorrow off and get a 2.5 hour massage! =D Then I will be ready to roll on Saturday! We can do whatever accessory work you feel like doing… I am not going to be picky… =D I am PUMPED!
Had a great workout today with CBear! We deadlifted and she used more weight than me today! She was a BEAST! =D
Conventional DL
5 @ 225
5 @ 240
5 @ 255 <— this last rep or two was kind of ugly… however I am squatting DOWN to the bar now which helps me keep my butt down. This has helped with my form…
Sumo DL
5 sets of 10 reps @ 135 with 60-75 sec between sets…
**** not as hard as I thought it would be. The bar was ripping my hands and hurt more than the actual deadlifts… so I wrapped a towel around the bar for my last 2 sets. I will justify this decision however and instead of calling myself wussy I will say that I was working on my grip by trying “fat bar deadlifts” =D
Core Press on GHR Machine
3 sets of 15 reps each side with 10 lb DB
DONE!
Always have fun working out with CBear! She rocks!
