Molly - Your last pull yesterday (once it moved) went up so quick! It seemed to even surprise you a little. I’m so excited to cheer you guys on at the meet!
And yes, I am considering starting a log and not just lurking all the time =) Besides all you ladies on here are having WAY too much fun, and I want in on it!

Shannon! Haha yes I felt like it flew up (once it broke the floor of course) but watching the video it seemed like I was pulling FOREVER! haha…
I am so excited you will be there too! That’s so nice of you guys to come support us!
DO IT! Start a log! The support and accountability and general inappropriateness is too great to pass up! =D
Thanks for stopping by! <3 So good to see you yesterday!
Claire - thank you so much! I was very excited! Bench has always been frustrating for me… so to hit the 150 mark builds a lot of confidence. I REALLY think I can hit 165 at my meet!
Sbmart - Thanks! But maybe if you weren’t so selfish and you stopped spending the entire workout talking about how EASY it is for you to gain muscle AND strength, then you could recognize others’ accomplishments. HOOKER! ;D
Skye - thanks! I am BEYOND pumped!
CBear - haha yes I do have a REAL coach… I think he would be willing to check your “form” though if you wanted! If you guys can stop killing squirrels long enough to get to the gym that is… ;D Keep Military Pressing you HOSS-CAT! You NEVER have to worry about me catching you there!

It’s official…I think you’re ugly and I hate you. [/quote]
Now that I have read this I think I should have convinced you to show up on Monday in your singlet to “get a feel for it”… Hahahahah
That would have been AMAZING if you had shown up in your singlet all by yourself! I am CRACKING UP just thinking about it! =D

I know this is probably a lot of jokes and laughter, but I seriously recommend wearing your singlet before the day of. Depending on how it fits, I was a little weirded out about how far up my crotch it rode. Also, I found the legs tight. After wearing it for a squat session, the legs stretched out enough that I didn’t feel it was almost like a squat suit the day of.
Had a pretty good workout yesterday… but my quads started hurting again pretty badly… like I described before it reminds me of a toothache in my quads… a deep, sore, throbbing kind of pain… very strange.
Anyway… squat day with messed up quads… not cool! Pushed through it though… I don’t think anything is “wrong” per se, I just think I need a bit of a break =D
Anyway, here was the workout:
Barbel Back Squat (using 240 as my 1RM)
5 reps @ 75% (185)
3 reps @ 85% (205)
1 rep @ 95% (230)
My first 230 went up a little slowly… so I tried it again and it was better…
I was supposed to do step-ups… but because of the quad pain, my coach and I compromised and he let me do Kroc Rows instead (I wasn’t supposed to do any this week… but he figured if it kept me off my legs than it was better than anything else! haha)
I GOT 15 REPS with a 100 LB DB! WHOO HOO! (video coming!)
