Has anyone else noticed that the better they get at having a mind-muscle connection in the gym, the harder it is to not rely on those muscles doing mundane things outside of it.
For example, every time I carry my 18 month old son down the street or longer than a minute or two I get a pump in my biceps. It’s rather annoying actually. Anybody else notice this?

I don’t think it’s the mmc, I think it’s not being accustomed to doing endurance type stuff and the ability to efficiantly get a good pump going quickly.
Have you trained anyone new at the gym? They don’t even really know what a pump is because they just dont get them or atleast noticeable ones.
now that you can get a pump within 1 or 2 sets of an exercise doing any endurance tasks suck when they involve muscles you routinely do hypertrophy or strength workouts with, because you get that big ass pump.
This is why I cannot swim my lats pump up so much it’s painful.

Your right that I’m getting a pump with endurance tasks, but I ain’t new to lifting. I’ve been getting pumps in most muscle groups for years, only recently though I have been getting pumps with non-gym related activities.
