It was also a sin tax because we all love the nanny state.
Here comes the purge.
TL;DR - Education Department employees who took DEI courses in the past have been placed on leave.
Not only are departments and initiatives being dissolved, but retroactive engagement is now in the crosshairs as well.
There will be legal challenges of course, but it appears the motive here is treating employees who bought in like a cancer to eradicate vs allowing them to simply transfer to new titles and roles, DEI philosophy still engrained.

That is next level. Being a proud DCA seems like step 2 in sorting the useful idiots to find the idiots willing to do your bidding.
I agree that they need to go. There are plenty of people willing to go along to get along when a cushy career, good benefits, and a comfy retirement are on the table.
You have to be either a true believer or pretty advanced and sharp opportunist to drink that next batch of kool-aid though.
Thats the crop that gets sorted further and moved into other roles, like purity testing or other malignant forms of administration.
From personal experience, often employees donāt have a choice. And itās not just that one department, even the military does it. I did it when I was serving. Go after those who made the courses mandatory. Even the private sector has made employees take these courses. Robin DāAngelo became a millionaire because of it. So though I agree with getting rid of these classes, I would ask, why just go after the department of ed?
DCA? My apologies, I understand this as dollar cost averaging ![]()
Yeah, I think itās important to go beyond just plucking the root and retill the dirt.
I see this as problematic. If I read correctly, they are going after leadership, or at least people high up the distribution chain.
I would assume this is in the works, and they began here. Kids first. They are directly attacking Milley. I would bet thatās partially personal, and partially a sign of things to come as Hegseth continues to purge DEI in the military.
Its ok man. Iām still stuck thinking that CRT means Cathode Ray Tube.
.
I donāt like the DEI nonsense but I think we would agree that people who had no choice but to take these types of courses should not be punished for it. Most people hate these types of classes and just go through the motions. I wouldnāt be surprised if most of those critical of these courses are ones who were forced to take them, like me.
Another problem is that probably every college grad under 30, maybe older, has taken at least one class where DEI, emphasis on the E, has been promoted. Itās a byproduct of CRT and if you want to get into teaching, you will be exposed to it. What I noticed in classes, when we were being indoctrinated with this stuff, is that there was almost a 50/50 split between those who seemed to buy into it and those who thought it was BS and a waste of time. In one class I always questioned the orthodoxy on privilege and racism, and the one student who always jumped in to agree with me was a black dude. He really didnāt like the idea of being perceived as a perpetual victim who needed special treatment to succeed.
Correct. In the article linked it wasnāt a compulsory program for all employees.
Thats why I interpreted it as the creation of a tier system of sorts. Its a subset of the set of people who agree with DEI policy making. The set that not only agrees, but wants to promote.
I wonder how compulsory gets defined. If employees were pressured in some way to participate, which happens, that needs to be considered. Unfortunately, some work environments encourage people to play the game. Itās a horrible experience when you go through these types of training and classes. At one, it was stated that it was a safe space and what is said in the classroom stays in there. So of course some white dude starts sharing his opinion on some racial matter and Iām thinking, ādonāt do it, itās a trap.ā Hereās some advice for anyone who has to go through this crap: if you feel the need to preface something with, āIām not a racist but,ā or, āit might sound racist but,ā donāt say anything. In fact, donāt say anything no matter how harmless it seems. Just pretend like you take it seriously.
Is the NBA struggling too? #NBA SO BLACK
Good root the cancer out.
Matt Walsh had that repulsive pos give a black dude money out of her purse
Me too. Iāve never worked in a dei environment. The places Iāve been since it began have very simple hiring criteria- pass the weld test. Thatās a non negotiable, scientifically developed process with clear and largely incontrovertable results.
I had to do an opsec module once to work in some places that was 45 minutes of this.
.
Yeah exactly
You had companies, not government agencies, who made her book required reading.
People think that removing DEI policies, like what weāre seeing now, is going to create some massive change but I donāt see it. DEI is a concept or belief system, particularly the E part, and it wonāt die easily. The women who are the main advocates for it are not changing their minds. The truth is, even women on the right have taken advantage of DEI and AA.
Itās simply another wedge to divide people because itās not applied evenly or consistently across the board ā¦NBA? Zero intellectual integrity.
The WNBA was created and subsidized to address DEI concerns in professional basketball.
Resounding success that wasā¦
It got that Griner dude out of a Russian prison.
