Minocyline Is Antianabolic

This is from the website:

Tetracyclines have anti-anabolic action which may increase blood urea. Caution in patients with renal insufficiency …monitoring of renal function is advisable. Frail and elderly patients are susceptible to hepatotoxic and anti-anabolic effects of tetracyclines.

So, does this prove that minocyline will cause catabolism if taken in regular doses?

No, anti-anabolic does not mean catabolic. It just means that will prevent growth (anabolism), but that does not mean that it will aid in catabolism
