Minimizing Effects of a Bad Schedule

I wake up at 6.00 AM and from 7.00 AM - 1.40 PM Im stuck at some place. My breaks are 20min at 9.15 AM and 11.50 AM.

Im really pissed with this because it is 7 hours without having a good complete meal. I can eat at home at 6.00 AM at 2.00 PM

But my question is:
Is it that big of a deal?
Is there ANY thing I can do to try to minimize the catabolic action? Casein?
Is it possible for me to have 100% of my body with this schedule?

Any kind of suggestion is more than welcome, such as snacks or anything else!

John Berardi Super Shakes at 9.15 and 11.50. Problem solved!

eat your breakfast a few minutes short of stepping into work(that’ll buy you some extra time)

why can’t you pack meals to eat during your breaks?

20 min is PLENTY of time to eat 600-100+ calories.

You have to plan ahead dude. Cook your meats before (all at once), cook your grains (pasta/rice…) and portion shit out.

It takes me 2 min in the morning to put my food into my cooler and have my breakfast; thats about 3800 calories (b-fast and food for the day). I only cook/prepare food for about 1.5hrs a week too.

168hrs a week, 1.5hrs spent cooking. Hmph.

I can pack food but not complete meals as I said before. My concern was that the lack of a full meal for 8 hours would screw my, until now, “strict diet”.

So it would be something like:

AM 6.30 Breakfast
AM 9.15 Shake ( Whey + Berry + Oatmeal + Yogurt + Flax )
AM 11.50 Protein Bar(s) + Salmon Sandwich
PM 2.00 Lunch

Thats 2.45 hours First to Second meal
2.45 hours Second to Third meal
2.10 Third to Fourth

Each protein bar has around 20g of Protein, 15g Carb, 5g Fat and 200 Calories

If I structure it like that would you consider it an option to go AROUND my problem or a QUALITY diet?

man…why dont you bring a cooler? bring a pound or two of cooked ground beef (just oil and taco mix), a few containers of egg whites, lots of fruit and peanut butter… maybe a few vegetables in container, you can easily pack many thousands of calories in food like this, and bring it to work, every day, few hundred grams of protein…

if you dont have breaks, see if you can drink your egg whites (500ml is 50 grams protein) and have fruit/PB while you work…if you actually consistantly get your breaks, you have no fucking excuse and i really hope that you wouldnt be complaining in that case…

edit…thats not even including shakes or milk, since i cant have any dairy i didnt even think about those easy as can be options

Are you sure you will turn catablolic by going 7 hours without a “complete meal”?

When adding a rhetorical question please try to make it more understandable.

Why cant you just say whats cool or not instead of losing my time and yours writing that shit that doesnt clarify anything

Are those last meals I added good enough?

I cant bring a cooler or anything like a bag. What I can bring is a bottle or something small. Can you give me some suggestions to this “small thing”? And say if it going to hold me back in someway

Say some shit like:

-Dude, thats nice!

-Man that shit sucks. It would be nice to add______________

Unless you’re two forty lean and have a crazy fast metabolism, I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Hell, even then. If you eat 2k calories worth of food for breakfast, it’s not like you’re going to eat yourself in the next seven hours.

What about those studies I’ve seen quoted that said even while fasting, it took multiple days for muscle to start wasting?

It’s paranoia.
