MINERAL MUSCLE

What type of gelatin is used in the ingredients?

What difference, if any, would it make if I just use the powder of one serving (7 tablets) mixed with water, and throw away the capsules?

The gelatin is from bovine and porcine sources.

I wouldn’t expect any change in effectiveness when doing this.

Thank You, really appreciate the quick reply.

This stuff gives my a stiffy in the morning, I think I can notice the difference, but I am taking other supps as well but nothing else new. I also notice I’m a little more productive throughout the day, I’m kicking ass in my workouts not wanting them to end, and I’ve got a little happy buzz going throughout the day. Just something similar to when I would take ZMA and not need any caffeine in the morning because I was awake and didn’t need the usual pick me up.

I’m halfway through the 1st bottle am liking it so far. As far as the sleepy effect I get tired at night anyways so this has been slight if at all.

Is this to be taken daily? or just following workouts? What about someone who doesn’t workout?

Elite Pro Mineral Support is appropriate for daily use by anyone, although the recommended dosage may be overkill for those who do not engage in any physical training.

i have personally begged TC for the following:

a true high quality multi vitamin ( i now use ortho molecular solutions alpha bases)
a high potency probiotic ( i now use metagenics ultra flora plus df)
a hihg potency d3

if you want ot see amazing things happne in your life i recommend the following protocol for anyone

a kick ass multi such as above
a probiotic - use a good one like metagenics not shit (this one step will do incredible things for you)
d3 - every human should be taking this
Superfood
Flameout
mineral support

Think of it this way step one is get the crap in you…step two is get it absorbed (this is where the probiotic comes in)…step three is cover likely deficiencies (minerals/d3/multi)…step four fight inflammation (Flameout/also glutamine such as in Metabolic Drive is excellent here)

it is fairly fascinating to me to see the money people will spend on high end supps then i ask “hows your gut health” HUH??? well guess what, i don;t care what you shovel in if it isn’t getting absorbed it isn’t doing shit.

OR

You could drink Raw Milk like I do.
Eat lots of vegetables, fruits and greens like I do (I have never seen anyone get fat off vegetables)
Get lots of sun, like I do

The Flameout, Mineral support, and multi - yeah I do that stuff too.

“Under normal conditions, the body contains 20 to 25 mg. of vanadium, and the average diet supplies about 2 mg. of vanadium per day. Food sources rich in vanadium include pepper, dill, radishes, eggs, vegetable oils, buckwheat and oats. Because of their organic environment, these natural sources are likely to be safer than over the counter preparations.”

Is this true and if so why such a low dose of vanadium in this supplement 100mcg.

Also I have been reading alot about toxicity etc… associated with vanadium. How does this supplement combat that issue?

"A group of researchers in Spain, who were attempting to control blood sugars in diabetic rats with three different vanadium compounds, put it this way, "Although some signs of diabetes were improved by vanadium treatment, because of the severe toxic side effects (including death and a rise in creatinine levels) noted in all of the vanadium-treated animals, it seems evident that oral vanadium administration is not a suitable therapy of diabetes mellitus…"5

Obvious toxic effects from vanadium coumpounds are usually seen in lab animals at minimum doses of 2.5 to 7.5 mg/kg/day. Although this is higher than typical over-the-counter doses of 30 mg to 60 mg per day, the difference between this dose and toxic doses for animals is not reassuring. For instance, someone who weighs 60 kg. (132 lbs.) and takes 60 mg. a day, their intake would be 1.0 mg/kg/day, or 40% of a dose believed to have shortterm toxic effects in animals. It should also be noted that inhibition of protein synthesis can be seen at much lower doses than those required to produce a toxic effect.

Some researchers speculate that excess vanadium could also be involved in several diseases of the kidney and bone where it is known to accumulate. Some success in treating manic-depressive disease has actually come from diets designed to be low in vanadium."

Thanks

Mod Brian,

What are your thoughts on taking ELITEPRO Mineral Muscle post-workout? Any benefit to attacking depleted mineral stores sooner after training or does it not matter much?

I’m thinking of buying some for my lady. What she does not work out. What dose do you recommend.

I’ve noticed that taking my dose after training helps me relax faster than normal, but I don’t expect there’s much long-term difference otherwise.

I suspect that 4-5 capsules daily would be sufficient for a typical inactive female.

Thought I’d throw in a little product endorsement for this one. Been taking this for about a month now, the benefits I’ve noticed include more restful feeling on waking, crazy morning wood :P, increased energy throughout the day and faster complete recovery from hard sessions. I do feel alot better taking it then when I wasn’t, so it’s definately on my must have list now along with Flameout.

Mod Brian,

Since switching over to the Elite Minerals from the ZMA (which was a long time ago), I’m not getting the dream state I had with ZMA? Any resons for this??? My carbs are restricted at the moment so it may be I’m not sleeping as deep due to my nervous system amping?
brandon76 wrote:

This could be very well the reason.

I personally don’t sleep well on low-carb diets, so I try to have a small carb-rich snack before going to bed when I’m limiting my overall carb intake.

I nap 3 times throughout the day to make up for the small amount of sleep I get at night. Would it make sense to take a cap before each nap? Or is that over doing it? Instead, should I take those three before my ‘core’ sleep even if I am taking a few then, already? I haven’t tried taking any before naps, though I should give it a shot?

Try it.

That’s the only way you’ll find out how it works for you.

Why would you think not? They form a consistent ordered structure.

I’ve read that topical sprays for Magnesium are more effective than oral pills here: » A New Paradigm for Performance Testing – Part 2

If one were to use both Mineral Muscle and a Mag. spray, how would this be done? I would assume full dosage of MM, and maybe 1/4 to 1/2 of the dosage for the spray?
I’ve looked for but have never seen a trace of evidence to support claims of transdermal delivery of magnesium supposedly being more effective than oral, or even effective at all, and it’s not plausible for physicochemical reasons – both lipid and water solubility are required for good transport through the skin, and the magnesium ion is not lipid soluble.
