I am starting Mike Mentzers routine “High Intensity Training” tomorrow consisting of a 4 day split.
I am 26 yrs old. Been training for almost 6 months. Tomorrow will mark my 3rd week of my first cycle of TEST ENANTHATE 350MG’s Per CC shot.
I am on a 700MG cycle per week. Has anyone ever used the mike metzer routine before? Worked? How will this work with my CYCLE of TEST? I would appreciate some feedback. Thanks.

Why did you start taking steroids so early in your training career? From your picture you don’t even have a good foundation of muscle to even begin to be thinking about messing with AAS.
While some will disagree, I believe for the first 6-18 months a new trainee would be best doing more full body workouts with compound movements then bodybuilder type training, remember you need a base first.
I’ve used HIT before and it did help me gain strength but not a lot of muscle. If you’re looking to gain muscle then HIT may be a nice way to prime the body for more intense programs such as the 30-day Waterbury Mass program or the recent post my coach Poliquin. If you’re doing roids then your recovery should be easier.
As for me, I’ve done versions of the Waterbury High Frequency program and Poliquin’s without realizing it. For me it worked great and I’ve packed on quality muscle because of it. I’m about to do the 30-day Waterbury routine again starting tomorrow. 10 days on and 5 days off. Repeat. By the end of the month you should see some great results. Good Luck!
I always go back to HIT for a few weeks because I enjoy it more than any other style of training more than any other reason.
With that said and with no bias, I personally think you’d be better off with a higher volume approach.
HIT centers around anti-overtraining IMO. It rails against the split routines that so many bodybuilders “waste thier time with” which I think is BS.
Put that Test to work with a 3 day split rountine over 4 days. Something like the the old tried and true Legs, Back/Biceps, Chest/Shoulders/Triceps, repeat day one on 4th day or something similar.
Maybe 2 exercises per bodypart, 3-4 sets of 6-10 reps. It may be “unscientific” but it will do more while on the juice than HIT.
Oh, and eat like you’re forever starving. This is no time to half-ass the calorie consumption!
