I remember this thread when it first came out.
I also remember Joe Deangelis having a lot of coverage in the old Musclemag issues back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. I loved his physique.

I hadn’t realized how old this thread is LOL.
Progress: I’m about 15 lbs lighter, leaner but wider (shoulders), and stronger. Couple shoulder setbacks but rebounded(-ing).

He seemed like a good guy. Great to talk to everytime I went to that gym. He’d closed shop and moved to CA I guess last year or so. It’s since changed owners (nothing to do with his illness).
Damn. Kind of knocks you into reality when a perceived invincible, big and strong man dies young like that.
Some other forums were discussing that Joe had some alcohol and drug problems in the past.
