Melanotan-II

Note: Erectile function and libido are not one and the same.

Only the former was demonstrated in human trial but of great interest 80% of those men that didn’t respond to PDE-5 inhibitors (think Viagra) did in fact respond to PT-141!

I think over on the melanotan.org board they recommend either 1/2 cc or 1 cc syringes. Basically insulin syringes. As for the needle, you can use 28, 29, 30 gauge. Basically the larger the number the smaller the bore in the needle is and the less it should hurt.

I will probably go with 1 ml and 29 gauge when i finally order some

Thanks. Sounds good. I’m not sure of the pharmacy’s policy in New York where I am this summer. But I’ll probably just order those online. Anyone know how long a bottle of this lasts at the recommended dosage?[/quote]

You can order slin needles and syringes on line at any one of about 50 places.

PM me and I can give you some addy’s.

I agree that increased libido hasn’t been tested, but both men and women have reported an increase in libido when using Melanotan and its derivatives. Michael A Perelman, who was a sexual-medicine adviser on the PT-141 trials, said that '‘It’s not merely allowing a sexual response to take place more easily. It may be having an effect, literally, on how we think and feel.’

Regardless, it’s a very interesting little compound. I’m looking forward to trying it.

Side effects that have been noted thus far:

transient facial flushing and lethargy

but in greater doses nausea and vomiting were reported for the so called MT1. The same is probably true for the MTII.

I think the nausea and vomiting were shown to be caused by blood spikes of the compound in the system. Splitting the dose throughout the day normally solves this problem.

Does anyone know how muscle researches product has been. I was planning to order from Ag-Guys, but Muscle Research is cheaper. I trust Ag-Guys more though.

FYI-Ag-Guys seems to be one of the most expensive places selling it. Check out melanotan.org for good sources.

I like AG-Guys and would probably buy there despite the greater cost, but I think it’s absolutely ridiculous that they tack on $30 for each vial for express shipping instead of just once. I can’t see how that’s justified. An extra cool pack or two cannot account for it.

Do you store this in the fridge or the freezer?

Before it’s reconstituted, the fridge is fine. Once reconstituted it should be frozen if it’s a lot because the peptide starts to break down. But what I could tell from melanotan.org, it’s fine to keep reconstituted melanotan in the fridge for 6-7 days which is one vial’s worth at least. If you are a bigger, a vial lasts even shorter. Check out the other thread, melanotan II (2). There are some good links to areas on melanotan.org that have pertinent info.
