ICE by extreme formulations taste good and has the proper ratios. Even Dr. John Berardi recommends it in one of his article. He says something along the lines of “before their was Biotest I used ICE BCAAs which was also a superior product.” It comes in 3 flavors, I like wildberry lemonade. Oh and theres also abotu 2000mg of Glutamine per serving in ICE so its a nice added recovery factor.
I use Biotest BCAAs here and there when I need caps, but for large dosage protocols, powdered is just much cheaper. [/quote]
ICE is good and so is Xtend. Xtend and Ice are identical except Xtend has way more flavors and has citruline Mallate (not saying anything about it, just stating that xtend has one more ingredient), along with a stronghold on the marketing corner at bb.com. I like to use the Biotest caps because it breaks the monotony (sp?) of taking powdered BCAA’s. I have yet to megadose them but I have found good results with a steady 25g a day on workout days. Not to mention Biotest’s price on BCAA’s is top notch compared to others.
oh yea…if you want to mask the taste of BCAA’s simply mix it with some crystal light. I do that for breakfast and then the rest i put in my protein shakes and the taste doesn’t bother me.
