Mega Muffins

So here’s the latest with CP’s Muffins!

I just made a new batch and samples have been sent out!

So far 3 people didn’t even notice the difference between mine and regular blueberry muffins!

The new and improved batches will have about the following nutritional information (I say about because each muffin is a different size):

Protein: 15grams
- Made up from Metabolic Drive and Egg Whites
Carbs: 30 grams
- 5 grams of fiber though!
Fat: 4 grams
- Comes from flax and other food fat sources
New Added Benefits:
- 2 grams creatine
- Superfood added in!

So all of that is per muffin of course. So far the only flavor is blueberry as I like the added health benefits of the blueberries.

I may be selling these at upcoming powerlifting meets for about $2 each. I figure that is a nice round price which will let me come out just above even.

The members on here that got a sample are Hotcarl and FlavaDave, mainly because they are my old roommates from college haha. Hopefully they will log on and tell him what they think of the muffins.

Oh by the way, these took me 30 minutes to make including baking time! They are also about 90% organic.

And of course a picture of said Muffins

Care to share the recipe? I’d like to give these a try.

Since you are in Canada I see little threat of you trying to sell my muffins at powerlifting meets where I will be so sure, I’ll PM you the quick and dirty version.

Thanks. What else is in them? Where are the carbs coming from? Blueberries? How exactly do you make them? I’m looking for some new things to add to breakfast.

I would love to have that recipe. I will not infringe on your powerlifting meets. I am in Louisiana.

hmm maybe I could get Chris Shugart to include it in one of his articles? Then everyone could have it and I’m sure I could still sell them at the meets. After all it’s supply and demand there! It seems like a perfect snack between lifts.

I got an idea, on my next batch I’ll take plenty of pictures and finalize the recipe. I’ll then submit it to TC for a Recipe of the Week article and if it makes it, everyone will have the recipe. How about that?

I promise I have better writing skills than I normally use in my posts, so hopefully I’ll at least have a shot at it.

carbs are coming from blueberries, fiber, and whole wheat flour.

It may be possible to make them low carb once Chris releases his new article on how the hell he did it!

Looks nice and tasty! Mind sharing the recipe? (Live in Iceland…)

Lol well I’ll get right to work on getting a set recipe for these. Most of the time I just eyeball the egg whites as you can’t ever have too much of them in there. Plus if it gets too runny all you do is add a little more Metabolic Drive and it thickens up rather well.

When I get one with set measures I shall share it with all.

Sounds awesome, I’d like to try some of these!

Haha I figured I might as well since I’ve found a quick and easy way to make them.

I still have my made from scratch type but that would be a bit more work than most people will want to put into it.

I would also appreciate a PM of this new creation:)

You still gonna release this top secret muffin recipe to the masses? I’d like to give 'em a try.

HEY!!! Give us an update Crew. How did the taste tests go?

Man, I would love a chocolate protein muffin.
