Great second video, hope there is MORE like the video said. Funny scene 50 seconds in, wonder what the “advice” from the old lady was haha.

Do siblings competing in BB contests happen often? Any other famous pairs? I’ve only seen the Barbarian Brothers but I guess they’ve will always be remembered in BB history.[/quote]

That old lady is his trainer. She’s knows more about bodybuilding than most trainers on this site.

He calls her “Oma” or something like that.

Her name is Sybil AFAIK and she posts on other sites. But any1 know whats with the sponges, for more forearm activation or summat?

Looks like he has a small child hanging off of his shoulder, Geez!

Hope he does well this year, he seems to really enjoy what he’s doing, and is undoubtedly one of the most impressive new guys in a while to go pro. Can’t wait to see how he measures up.

Thanks X. I would not have known that. Yes there’s a line “Oma knows what to do” or similar at 1.44 (around there).

Splits time between Curacao and Holland.

Doesn’t Oma mean grandma or something in Dutch? Sibil is really cool, definitely knows her stuff.

EDIT

CC just confirmed that I guess.

Makes sense, thanks.

First time I’ve ever seen an older lady train a high level (or any level really) bodybuilder. What’s her background?

C_C,

I’m having trouble finding the web site mentioned. Did some more Google and came up with this which I think “was” on her site.

""First of all let me introduce myself
My name is Sibil Peeters.
I was born on Januari 16, 1957 in Tegelen, The Netherlands.

Now I’m 51 years old and I live in Hellevoetsluis.
I am the mother of 3 kids,2 boys,Mike and Danny and 1 girl,Chantal.

I spend most of my time giving personal training and guiding athletes to competitions.

The interest for the sport bodybuilding started in 1981 after i gave birth to my youngest one, and needed to loose some weight.

I got addicted to training and wanted to do more then just workout for myself,so i started to train myself for competition and entered my first competition in 1990,The grandprix for beginners in the houtrusthallen in The Hague, won first place but i wasnt happy with the results yet,i could do much better."

Thanks. Yeah, site didn’t show for me either.

“Oma” is also grandma in Dutch. She is pretty well-known here in Holland. Her leg trainings are brutal =)

Man those are nutty tris

<<<< is officially a fan

He’s Dutch. Oma means grandma.

nothing makes me feel pathetic quite like seeing a huge guy pose, then look at myself in the mirror.

Why? That guy posing started somewhere too. He put the work in to get to that level, and if you want similar results you should do the same.

For real. It isn’t like the man was born looking the way he does now. He worked his ass off for it.

…and to the guy who said his little brother won’t make it…gee, this is what Roelly looked like years back. they are almost identical…so stop judging people’s potential based on how they look right now.
