Brain Candy for me today. I need to be “on” as well as stimulated! Meeting the videographer, covering the workout with Meadows, then off to the Expo!

Warming up.

These guys are so casual and always joking around at first. Then, at some point in the training, the mood shifts and things get insane. Countdown to violence…

Works sets begin with 100s.

Some quick and dirty videos here: T Nation (@testosteronenation) • Instagram photos and videos

Drop sets starting at 120s. These “sets” lasted several minutes each it seemed!

Planet Fitness would so kick these guys out.

7AM and the fans are out getting pics and videos. Very cool. Half the gym was filming on leg day. (And so were we. Stay tuned.)

Banded bench press.

These guys plowed through the Plazma and are now on to Mag-10. We have to ship them more Plazma for the weekend. They had about 4-5 each on leg day! And they put it all to work.

And it’s not even arm day.

Amit.

Meadows talking anatomy and physiology. He’s a walking anatomy chart after all!

“…and here we have a bicep you will never, ever achieve.”

Post workout fun. Hard to believe these guys are still vertical after that workout.

Best quote: “I flexed my kidney.”

Isn’t Ben competing this year? And he’s rocking an intense workout with Meadows the day before, he’s awesome.

^I think someone wrote that his wife just had a kid, so he’s focusing on his family this year.

Correct. He is not competing.

Ha, took the Olympia off to squeeze in extra sessions for 2014. HEAD START.

If you’ve never been to the Olympia or Arnold Expo, it’s worth the trip once. I always have the same thought: “These are my people!” Then “These are my people???”

Kind of a strange crowd. Somewhat embarrassing to be part of (want to wear of suit of caffeinated beef jerky and do pull-ups for a prize?), yet somewhat comforting too. I suppose it’s heaven for the 20 year old bodybuilding fanboy.
