For someone so full of himself, you strike me as someone not sure of himself.
Why do you need people to say, “Max, you are strong”? Validation is, after all, what you seek in every one of your posts. When you do not get validation, you throw temper tantrums. Like a little boy or little girl… “Look at me! Look at how STRONG I am!”
If you know (or think) you’re strong, leave it at that. Stop trying to attract admirers and fans. You’re not nearly charismatic enough to develop a following.
If you’ll note my original post, I acknowledged the fact that DW has been less than pleasant in the past. That fact, however, is completely independant
of his achievements in physical culture.
In addition, the fact remains that 1) the vast majority of the people on this site have little credibility when critiquing DWs form, as he’s consistently outlifting most of them. Were they all, for instance, Westside lifters with impeccable form, I wouldn’t be nearly as irritated.
In addition, many pro powerlifters have less than perfect form when attempting max effort lifts, or they use so much gear that they are physically incapable of performing with imperfect form, because their movement is restricted outside of “the groove”.
Lastly, the kid in the video in the OP is obviously young. Yes, his form sucks. That much is clear. In spite of that, he got three greens, and I doubt very much that every poster on this website whining about peoples’ form (that thread from a couple of months ago in which some black dude squats 600 in the gym with near-perfect form, and idiots in this forum blathered on about the horrifying nature of his “terrible lift”, springs to mind) have ever even competed.
Thus, their criticisms are null and void. Furthermore, I’ll submit they are useless bags of shit who should drink bleach and put themselves out of my misery.
I’ve seen only a few people with perfect form in my life, and only very rarely were they exceptionally strong.
You don’t watch much powerlifting, do you?
I was referring to gym lifters, but I could name a wide variety of strongmen and powerlifters with imperfect form.
lol…yeah like every fucking lifter in the WPO with their multi ply shirts and mile wide squat stance. Not to mention the fact they dont get tested for juice. The WPO has given powerlifting a bad name, take one of their poster boys Jeff Lewis…I mean like if you were a ref how the fuck would you know if he was under parallel, you’d probly need an x-ray machine or I suppose you could just wait till his bitch tits were on the ground.
Exactly my point. I recognize that the WPO is all about spectacles, but they’re out of control with greenlighting bad lifts. In addition, no one should miss a lift because they cannot touch the bar to their chest (i.e. Marcus Schick) . That shit is idiocy.
A double bodyweight raw olympic full squat is considered very respectable in most peoples’ eyes and I’m very close to that. I guess the T-Nation crowd are all champion powerlifters and gold medal olympic weightlifters.

Yeah I’ve noticed that too… WE certainly are a select bunch of people.

Hmmmmm.
And all this time I thought bleach was good for you…
My humble suggestion if you want people to quit making funnies about DW…PM him to quit posting pics of himself in his diapers at 160.

Wow. Well, I’m going to stand by my statement that being a douche and one’s gym achievements may be viewed separately, and I’m disgusted with the threads devotedto talking shit about other peoples’ form, in spite of the fact that often those people are stronger than their critics.
