Masteron

Is masteron a class I or class II drug? And is
it true that masteron has been discontinued?
If so, why do all the “best” drugs keep
getting discontinued? Aargh!

The information used to decide if an androgen
is Class I or Class II is either having
scientific data on how well it binds to the
androgen receptor, or observations of what
steroids it stacks synergistically with, or
preferably both. I don’t have either kind
of information for Masteron. I would guess
Class I but possibly with some non-AR-mediated
activity as well, given it’s reputation for
“hardening.” However, the hardening effect
seen with some androgens doesn’t seem related
to the non-AR-mediated means of making gains.
So from that point of view, you’d still want
a traditional Class II in the stack.

Masteron is no longer considered a preferred treatment for
its intended therapeutic use, namely,
treatment of breast cancer. I suppose this
is the reason it is discontinued. If no one
is using the drug for the intended medical
purpose, it’s not surprising that the manufacturer would discontinue it.
