Curious Marz, I did not see it mentioned…are you doing steady state cardio (trying to get your heart rate to a certain level and keep it there) or some sort of intervals?

I’m doing 30 mins of HIIT, 6 rounds of 30 second sprints.

Fyi 1 cup of rice and 3 oz of fish really isn’t a lot of food. At all. Guna up the veggies I think as a filler.

are you taking progress shots with the same lighting/posing? I’m doing that every other week - it’ll be neat at the end to see them side by side

Yea that is true, I saw a prank played on some people once. They had people checking their weight and they would either set the scale 10 lbs heavy or light and depending on what they thought they were they’d be happy or mad about it the whole day… I saw another with clothing size and they put the wrong sizes and the same thing happened… But everybody has that number they wouldn’t want to go below, for me its 250 but that has some to do with me playing football…

In no way shape or form did I confuse that with a lot of food!! LOL

You should be at 6-8oz of meat per meal… Not 3…

Yeah thats a good point, it was actually 5, been using grams (150g). And fucked the conversion up.

, thats just the meat portion not taking eggs, nuts into account.

" HIIT ON BIKE 2x/week : I want 6 sprints of 30secs with active rest between your sprints… should total about 30mins. I’m starting you with only this for cardio "

So does that mean only doing essentially a sprint for 30seconds every 5minutes? Isn’t that like a long ass time inbetween sprints? Isn’t it for HIIT its usually 1-3minutes that people do?

Just taking a guess, but maybe he has those long breaks because he hasn’t done cardio in a while. Maybe master ZRAW wants to slowly introduce cardio into his workouts?

Also, i know i shouldn’t be quoting this but Muscle and fitness (yes i said it) but they did a long series of articles on HIIT and they pretty much figured out that around 4 minutes rest in between sprints was most effective, also having around 15-20g of protein before it was more effective than doing it fasted.

Zraw might have his won reasons for doing it, but im just doing what he says.
