How badly did you veer off the diet?
I assume the resort you were at was all inclusive…

Unfortunately it wasn’t
i really tired to make ‘good’ choices wasn’t always easy. Limited snacking and stuck to meals mostly. I did drink 1 or 2 beers everyday, some tequila, vodka, rum etc the odd pizza.
Came back about 8lbs up on what i weighed before i left which is a lot less than i thought i would gained. Probably mostly glycogen, water and digestive stuff so i’m not too worried
Confident that within a week i’ll be back to my baseline.
Beer is my preferred poison too. I can certainly do a few a day… and I haven’t yet figured out how to properly program it into my diet. Once I do, I’ll probably take over the world. lol. One good thing about dieting and a fast metabolism, though, 1 beer (or whiskey) packs a much stronger punch.
With all do respect, you most likely won’t drop 8 lbs of “glycogen, water, etc.” in one week.
I went home on vacation for three weeks, and I gained 10 lbs in that time. I’ve been back for a month on my diet, doing half an hour of cardio every workout (now 45 minutes) and I’ve just now shed that 10 lbs to be back to my starting weight.
You may lose 3-4 lbs your first week back to your strict plan, but not all 10. If you did I’d be surprised. I just want you to be realistic and not be shocked if it takes time to drop it again. Though, I didn’t consume any alcohol when I came home, so I don’t have any experience with how that impacts your body. My dirty pleasure was Dairy Queen - Japan doesn’t have those here.
Marz, how’s the situation in Egypt?
Girlfriend and I have booked a holiday to Sharm el Sheik in early September, still good to go?
getting into your stuff as we speak
Training days
Meal 1 - 45mins pre workout: 40p,30c, 10f
Intraworkout : 15g BCAA mixed in 2L water
Meal 2 - (DIRECTLY POST WORKOUT) : 40p, 60c. Here I want 2scoops whey mixed in some kind of kids cereals (i use frosted flakes, idk what you have access to in Egypt). Make it so you get 76g of carbs there.
Meal 3 : 40p, 10c, 10f
Meal 4: 40p, 15f
Meal 5 : 30p, 15f
Meal 6 : 40p, 15f
Off days
Meal 1 : 40p, 15f
Meal 2 : 40p, 35c, 10f
Meal 3 : 40p, 15f
Meal 4 : 40p, 25c, 10f
HIIT ON BIKE 2x/week : I want 6 sprints of 30secs with active rest between your sprints… should total about 30mins. I’m starting you with only this for cardio
Meal 5 : 40p, 15f
Meal 6 : 40p, 15c, 12f
SKIPLOAD : FROM 6HOURS TO 8HOURS
Program, how do you feel about it? This will really be up to you to be honest. We can keep it or we can change it. If we do change it I would have you on a 3days split (push, pull, legs) done 4x/week
Sorry for being away for so long. I had limited time even to myself and while it may seem frustrating to see me post pics and stuff on instagram/facebook and not coming in on this thread its really only because the amount of time it takes for me to do these different things isnt the same

You’ll be fine, i have 2 separate friends there at the moment from the U.K.
Especially in touristy areas its heavily policed and protected for that very reason. The main trouble is in the main city areas so don’t worry about it.
If you were planing on visiting cairo don’t bother. it isn’t worth it at the moment.
Enjoy the diving, the shisha and the beer!

Maybe, we’ll just see how it goes. My body is pretty strange after a bit of time off diet i seem to drop weight pretty quick.

Don’t worry my man, i know your a busy guy it’s all good. Plan looks solid and i enjoy working each body part twice a week at the moment. So maybe we can stick with it a little while longer.
Nutrition is simple enough, some minor adjustments and we’re good to go!

I don’t know if this is true lol but I also heard he would drink 6-8 before lifting also. This is how I justify my weekends.

If it did happen it was probably off-season, not during a cut.

Arnold is the king of the oxymorons and exaggeration, he was an actor and politician before he stepped on either stage.
You could try the old strongman “health drink”:
The ingredients were dark lager beer (or Dublin stout) mixed with Holland gin, the yolk of an egg and plenty of sugar. “It is a very good but strong drink” was the Saxon opinion, “but, if you are not used to it you will get dizzy very quickly.” It seems to me that one would have to be a very strong man in the first place, in order to drink it.
A bit surprised everyone is giving you a free pass for going off your diet and gaining 8lbs on your vacation…
Well 8lbs is not 8lbs. You’d have to see where you are when you get back to “normal”. I’ve lost 8lbs overnight + dropping a duce lol. I don’t think its possible to gain 8lbs of fat in 2 weeks.
