not too many 165 guys doing that

I reckon you’ll look awesome at 190. Not contest ripped obviously, but still awesome.
he was not 165 when he did that

your strength leaves faster than the fat does… trust me

anyways, im bowing out for now… but I am keeping my eye on this. Prove me wrong Marzouk… the challenge has been issued

just checking in with you big Marz…

keep up the good work and do not get discouraged! one fat guy to the other, it is a very difficult thing to lose size and strength, but not necessarily seeing a BIG difference in the mirror yet. but it will come!

keep banging a way.

Yeah, it’s definitely all in your head man. I remember when I dropped from 225 to 200, I felt the same way initially, but that’s why you take weekly photos. You’ll definitely realize that you’re actually looking bigger than anything else.
marzouk will probably end up around 165 if he gets down to single digit bodyfat
Mr. Walkway, the things you’re saying may be accurate, but I don’t understand the need to be so condescending and negative. I gather that you have a pretty impressive physique, and you seem very knowledgeable. However, you really seem to talk down in about every one of your posts. I think people would be much more receptive of your advice and enjoy discussion with you if you were a little more constructive in your critiques.

Everyone is here for a common interest, there’s no need to belittle anyone who is making a positive life/physique change. Marzouk seems to be getting after it!

fucking a “mate”

and Strongs routine is one of the toughest i have done that i can remember in my old age.

i have never thoroughly pre exhausted my entire upper AND lower body front AND back THEN lifted heavy compound movements in ONE workout before.

funny thing is, this program has autoregulation built into it, ie, as soon as i feel like i am adapting to the workload and not vomiting after each workout, fuck, i have to increase loading or volume. then i am seeing my shake all over again, the other day, i saw my fucking fish oil tabs in the pile, NICE :frowning:

i know you are busting it with the more BodyBuilding type routine Z has you on, but when this is over and want to try something different, give Strong a call.

well no obviously not but I think those lifts indicate considerable muscle mass, more so than being 165. Perhaps 165 is a reasonable on-stage weight for him, which is fair, but considering he’s only looking to get ripped, not contest peeled, I think he’ll be a good bit heavier than that.

But whatever, it’s all just speculation for the time being.

Get on with it Marzy, you’ve peaked out interest!

Yeah maybe after this is over i can start looking into other training styles. As for the fish oil, its bad enough when u burp them up and get a cool fish stench. Hopefully i’ll never see the on the gym floor!

Uh, no, what I meant was we were interested before, and that interest has now risen to a peak…

dang! And that’s exactly the sort of error that I love to point out. The shame.

Being blunt may not always come off as nice, but sometimes it’s necessary.

No way. I’m Marz’ height at 6% 175lb in my avi. Marz has more lean mass than I did when I started.
you are 6% according to calipers yes?

I doubt marzouk has more lean mass than you, but time will tell…
He most certainly does. Have you seen my “before” photos?
Marzouk wrote:
Hell i’d be more than happy getting as lean as u were 9 weeks out!
Stop this kind of thinking. It implies an attitude of hope and not one of certainty. Even at 230+lbs I knew exactly where I was gonna end up. You will too. Tell yourself now that’s where you’ll be and just do it…don’t “try.”

I am with him on that, that type of thinking lets you settle for less that your optimum goals… I have done it far to many times… I have a goal in my mind right now and I am not budging on it for nobody… For me it is 275 by Dec, which would be about an 80 lb loss… I could probably do it faster but I want it to be as close to pure fat loss as possible…

What weight do you think you will see yourself peaking at with your first real offseason?

that’s quite a surprise. You don’t even look 230 in that picture; you carry it pretty well
