Thanks Sentoguy! Very good and interesting videos. Some things can be used on the street some in a mma matches and training.
And now more goofball punches…3 new goofball videos

just copy paste the got damn link
Actually it could all be used in either.

Watched your videos. It looks like your stamina is improving and that you’re working hard, so kudos to you for that.

Things you still need to work on:

 1. head movement- I know you’re just hitting the heavy bag, but get in the habit of changing the level and/or alignment of your head (both between combinations or during them). Also, I like I said before, if you are not punching you need to be moving your head or moving your position (footwork).

 2. footwork- you still just walk into punching range (what Lewis called “the pocket” in one of the videos above) without using any kind of fake, or head movement to cover yourself on the way in and avoid getting hit in the process, and then start throwing punches. You can’t do that against a real opponent, they will be hitting you as you try to step in. You need to either be punching, faking attacks, or using evasive head movement as you enter the pocket. Get used to being too far away to land with strikes (without taking a “penetration step”) and then trying to close the gap using footwork as quickly as possible while simultaneously punching, faking, or using evasive head movement on the way in.

You also have the habit of predictably stepping straight back out and relaxing after your combinations. A good fighter will pick up on this and make you pay for it. Get used to “clearing” at angles and using punches, fakes, and/or head movement on the way out to again “cover” yourself and make it harder for the opponent to follow you out.

 1. Variety of punching combinations- you are kind of predictable with your punching combinations. I realize that you may be trying to work on a few punches, trying to really get them down before moving on to others. But you can be a little more unpredictable with how you throw them.

For instance, work jabs at different levels (chest, head, and body), double and triple up your jabs (you’d be surprised just doing this causes the jab to land), lead with the straight right sometimes, throw in some fakes here and there to practice messing with the opponent’s defensive timing, just to name a few ideas.

There may be more that I want to add, but that’s all I have time to write atm.
You evaluted very well flaws in my game plan. I will work on this to erase these mistakes harder. My combos were predictable cause I wanted to focus on explosivnes that round.

Hey sentoguy a bit jealous that you met a legend like joe lewis, one of my favoite fighters from the late
70’-80’s and if i recall correctly i think his last fight i could be wrong was when he fought bill"superfoot" wallace though he fought a lighter opponent he was game all the till the end showed alot of heart against
Bill, have you had the chance to meet bill? that guy could throw his foot like a fist and it was unreal.

Haven’t got a chance to meet Bill yet. He was supposed to come out a couple of years ago, but something came up at the last minute and he couldn’t make it. Him and Lewis are truly two of the legends of both full contact Karate and American Kickboxing.

The thing that impresses me the most about Joe though (besides the fact that at 65 years old he’s still faster and in as good, if not better, shape than 95% of all 20 year old fighters) is his ability to teach and convey the knowledge which he’s gained from his years of training. Very few guys can both perform at a world class level and teach at that same world class level.

alot of you are being way to kind. ts you are a joke. props to you for getting in the ring it takes balls. but the fact that you even posted this fucking thread makes you a complete joke. you have no freaking clue how the business of fighting works, and you disrespect the sport completley by trying to get a fight with pudg at an online forum. i watched your videos. you have poor standup skills, and from what i saw in the fight video, you got controlled on the ground by a very poor fighter himself. if you fought pudg you would be destroyed. he is bigger stronger faster and better. if you had actual skills then for your size i would be behind you in the fight. but you dont. you suck. you fail.i am done in this thread.

I don’t know what’s funnier, his responses, or everyone else actually giving advice. This thread cracks me up.

Wow…talk about stepping on someones dream…Phew…hey haven’t you ever had a goal in your life that might have been out reach? I mean other than trashing other people.

You sound like a mean littl kid.
Well, I’d agree with him that starting a thread on an online forum which is unaffiliated with Mariusz and using that to publicly challenge him is kind of silly and does show a lack of understanding about how the fight business works.

But yeah, no need to be so harsh on the guy. I’m glad that sammiza at least gave him props for having the balls to actually get into the ring/cage and fight. It also takes balls to put up videos on an open forum for critique, because people can be really harsh with their criticisms.

marin still has a long way to go if he wants to compete seriously in professional MMA, but who really benefits from tearing him down? Not him and not really the people who do so. Some of us are trying to actually give the guy some constructive criticism, which might actually help him out in improving his skill (even if he never reaches an elite level or competes in professional MMA).

I mean if someone wants to post some smart ass funny comment meant to just get a laugh out of people and not really meant to tear him down, well ok, I don’t really see too much harm in that. But I don’t get the negativity that some people display. Who are you guys again that you have the right to shit all over this guy’s dreams and call him a joke for pursuing them?

This is just a trash talk. My opponent had 5-10 fights before our match wich was my first. I also got a good chance but simply didnt react right in the clinh. He is a poor fighter?
Today he is one of the best in Region (East and Central Europe).

My defence on the ground was poor also cause I broke my fibula (leg) during the fall after the knee strike. I was able to get up and walk but my leg was really hurt. These are all facts.
This is a HL of my poor opponent!

Your impression is of no importance. First of all I am not annonymus like you, hiding behind a nickname comfortly spitting on people I dont know anything about. You and some other characters are a modern phenomenon of internet disease of spreading hate and negative attitude about every decent thing in this world. This disease is simple.

Once you open your mouth on the net everybody has some vision of you wich is in many cases completely wrong or opposite from reality. Thats why this is more of a social experiment and a case study then anything else.

I am an adult, self sustainable, Master of science with a very high IQ. Insane? Not likely. I also have more then 20 years in competitive sport on national and international level. I woudnt underastimate me this much… But as I said internet vision of people is something else, you can create it by your own choice…

Some of you were so convinced that I suck cause you hated the very idea of me blowing this challenge on the forum. If I suck my opponents suck, my power sucks, every aspect of my skills suck. By looking at the trees you didnt see the woods. Mariusz Pudzianowski will fight some NHL bully who hits women and has zero mma expirience and skill. Nobody commented that.

On the topic of the NHL “bully”, the guy is an international world renowned athlete who has fought many times(albeit in hockey).
On the topic of trying to stay anonymous, many of us don’t claim to be something we’re not.
We don’t claim to be super awesome fighters who could take down a 300 pound man if only they’d give us a chance.
I don’t care about your other attributes. You might be a powerlifter (and you seem to be a good one), a master of science and whatnot but a great fighter you aren’t.
Until you back up what you’re saying, no one will care.

I am more closer to Mariusz with my power then he is to my all round skills I can guarantee that. He is to slow. On one of his strikes I can respond with 3 at the same amount of time. These are all facts, eveluated by a eye of couple of mma trainers not yours… NHL bully? Did you watch these fight legendary blazer? They are all the same. With one hand they are holding others guy helmet while they are hitting each other with other. Great expirience level for fight. Yeah right… I dont wanna a brag about my expirience outside ring so I want do that.
To summarize this, your opinion doesnt matter. Do you know whose those? About a 100 professional and amatuer mma fighters, boxers, thai boxers, strongman and powerlifters who supported my idea of fighting Mariusz. Some of the also gaved much realistical insight of his abilities as well as my own then just " you suck Marin. ha ha …".

This is my last post.
Reread this part.

And this is supposed to be combat forum
