Man Tits and Stomach Fat

Over the past 3 years ive really started to gain fat in my chest, making look like i have man tits when i have a tight white t-shirt on.Even going to the beach i leave my singlet top on because im self concious about my chest fat.My stomach is also getting plenty of fat storage, especially below the belly button.I have a four pack.

Now the rest of my body is lean and trim.my arms do not have hardly any fat on them, same with legs.
The scary thing is i think this is all genetics. My father is build the same way exept he is not hitting the gym 5 times a week.

Would it just be genetics or low testosterone levels (im 29)too much cotisol?

Any ideas would be appreciated

maybe some diet/nutrition (do you drink? smoke?), exercise routine, and other information would be helpful…

pictures?

Its pretty similiar for me, although I get a bit in my back as well.

I started the Anabolic Diet about 2.5 weeks ago and I’ve noticed my gut is getting smaller. It’s probably got alot to do with your diet also.

This is what CT has said about fat storage sites:
Abdomen is NOT related to insulin sensitivity but to elevated cortisol.

Supra-iliac (love handles) and upper back are related to insulin sensitivity.

Chin & Cheek: these first two measures are the first one to go down and they are not associated with any specific hormone imbalances. However if facial fat increases
while other sites stay stable it is an indication of adrenal burnout. This might be one of the reason why modern bodybuilders are often ripped to the bone, yet still have a
round face (Jay Cutler is a good example).

Triceps: indicate how male you are. The lower the triceps is, the more testosterone(natural or from an injection) you have. A natural (not using steroids) woman cannot have a triceps fold of less than 6mm (give-away for steroids use in almost all cases).

Pectoral: indicate if you are prone to aromatization (converting testosterone to estrogen) or not. If the pectoral measure is higher than the triceps then you are
probably converting too much of your testosterone into estrogens.

Subscapular: genetic predisposition toward handling carbs. The higher this measure is, the more insulin-resistant (do not tolerate carbs well) you are.

Supra-iliac: current situation regarding insulin levels. If it is too elevated you are consuming too much carbs.

Umbilical/abdomen: a high measure here compared to the rest is indicative of bad cortisol modulation. Note that elevated abdominal fat is representative of long term cortisol elevation, not of what happened in the past weeks. If your abdominal fat is high compared to other measures it means that your cortisol has been out of whack for a while.

Mid-axilary: a high measure here indicate bad thyroid modulation. Either you are not producing enough thyroid hormone or the conversion from the relatively inactive T4
into the more active T3 is inhibited.

Knee & Medial calf: these two measures indicate growth hormone production (so the quality of sleep too). A high knee measure compared the the calf is a sign of liver
toxicity.

Quadriceps & Hamstrings: these are the estrogen sites. When these are elevated compared to the upper body it means that the body is producing too much estrogen. In males this obviously means lower testosterone too (either because a lot of the testosterone is aromatized into estrogen or because both hormones are made of
pregnenolone… overproducing one thus means underproducing the other).
Hope that helps some.

When I had my bodyfat professionally measured, using the caliper method (don’t exactly know which variance), the physio commented that my figures - 16.1% at that time - were almost artificially high due to the thick layer of blubber in the love-handle area. When you have already managed to slim down to 32-inch waist and have some abs for the first time in your life, it was a depressing result because the calculations meant I had to drop to something like 160lbs to get to the 10% mark - leaving me like a skinned rabbit in the process.

All I can say is keep the faith because I’m currently 187lbs and leaner now than when I was then (estimate around 13% bodyfat). Sure, my goal is to make greater inroads to that fat figure but I’m more confident this can be achieved without sacraficing too much mass.

Not to jack the thread or anything but I have the same problem lol. Judging from the info provided by hardgnr I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve got high levels of testosterone but due to aromatase, I’ve developed moobs to a certain extent. However my estrogen levels are not high up there due to my legs being the leanest part of my body lol. Just some simple conclusions based on the data given. How can I reduce aromatization?

First, how can you get a hormone profile by looking at someone?

I swear, some of you are either walking centrifuges or you read too much bullshit pseudoscience.

X, you cleary suffer from adrenal burnout, seen in your not-so-nice post. You need to IMMEDIATELY deload for 3 weeks and begin a cycle of AAS. Also, only go to the gym 2 times a week; you don’t want to overtrain.

Your use of Dragon Ball Z as an avatar indicates fluctuating testosterone levels and a propensity for powering up and leveling entire planets. Please consider anger management and possibly some estrogen supplements.

Well, I’ve got fat, like, covering my body. It’s like, everywhere. I think my hands are pretty lean, and my ears too, and I’ve got great vascularity in my dick.

PLZ hep.

Get to a doctor QUICK. You have fat-fuck-itis and soon, it will spread to both your dick and your ears. No part of you will EVER be lean again. Ask Dick Cheney.

LOL. Touché, sir; touché.

Dude I’m just using logic and the information provided. I never said that my conclusions were scientifically proven via blood tests in a fancy laboratory. I asked a simple question who’s answer would benefit anyone who read it regardless of their hormone profile. Who doesn’t want to minimize aromatization? This is ‘Testosterone Nation’ not ‘Testosterone Turned Estrogen Nation’. Chillll mannnnn lol.

This is also a site filled with people who actually have degrees in biology and one of them told you that maybe you put too much stock into what some of these authors write.

You came to a lot of conclusions that haven no basis in scientific fact.

Well, this thread certainly took a turn for the better.

Prof I know you’re a knowledgeable guy. You’ve given advice to and have supported nearly every active member on this board, assisting them to overcome whatever trivial limitations or worries that were nagging at the back of their mind at the time. However, regardless of the fact that my post count remains in the 100’s, I’ve read up on the topic of bodybuilding, talked to people who are knowledgeable in the area (other people with degrees in biology if you will), and over time have developed my own sense of whether an article is worthy of being considered useful or not.

I do appreciate that you are willing to share your judgment on the topic in hopes that I will make the correct choice but in this case I believe we are arguing a moot point. If anything I regard this article as a piece of interesting information that may or may not be true and will find a place for it to sit in the back of my mind until it is confirmed or contradicted.

Thank you however for informing me of your opinion on the topic.

The only reason I posted was because I was curious what the best solution to reduce the aromatisation of T into E should it be a problem.

Thanks in advance for your reply as I am sure it will be an interesting read lol.

I think my belly fat means I’m eating at a caloric surplus. not sure though.

Thats a common misconception, it is actually due to an unfavorable ratio of cortisol-test.

Is that sarcasm? If so, you get Ten Vicomte Deadpan points.

Not to be confused with those TC Points I see sometimes.

Mine are even more worthless.

On the internet, you can have degrees in everything!

it was indeed sarcasm.
