Making Myself Known

Hello all.

I’m not really a new member to the forum, at least not the T-Nation forums in general, but I’ve been a lurker in this forum for quite a while. I haven’t really bothered posting much lately, just been reading up on stuff and I’ve acquired a ton of knowledge on cycling. I don’t plan on doing a cycle anytime soon, but I do plan on posting in here somewhat from now on, hence why I’m making myself known through a little introduction.

I’m 19 years old, a sophomore in college, 220 lbs, about 16% BF I’m guessing, and I’ve been lifting for a year. I also live with BDE in an apartment. I fell in love so much with bodybuilding, that I dropped my previous major to pick up Exercise Science as a major.

Previously, I was 180 lbs, 20% BF and hated my physique. I started lifting and eating massive amounts of foods high in protein and downing protein shakes like none other. I gained 70 lbs in 70 months, putting me at 250 lbs. Now I’ve been cutting for the past 3 and have lost 30 lbs, putting me where I am today.

I stopped lifting for 2 months (late May - late July) because I was burnt out from lifting and lost quite a bit of muscle, strength, and luckily, even fat as a result. Started lifting again and now I’m actually still losing fat while gaining muscle back that I lost while not lifting. God I love muscle memory. Still haven’t gained all of it back yet, but I’m getting there. I guess that’s what I get from working out 7 days a week for 8 months straight, just getting so burnt out that I don’t want to work out. But now I’m back on track and ready.

I want to read about steroids because I will eventually use them. I have seen significant changes in my body in the past year (gained 50 lbs of muscle, lost 4% BF), so I’m excited to see how far I can push myself. Again, just here to make conversation about steroids and whatnot to further educate myself. Sorry I posted my life story, but I can’t help myself.

Anyhow, thanks to all who read this.

That is correct. He lives with my family until we both move back to college together where he will live with someone else.

Don’t label this guy as a steroid noob. He may be relatively new to the whole bodybuilding and steroids deal, but I would vouch that he is as knowledgeable in both subjects as I am, especially in steroids. He’s been reading about them a lot longer than I have and actually taught me much of what I know about them. His knowledge goes far beyond his experience. His huge success already within only one year proves it if you read his post.

Glad to see you have joined in on the fun, roomie!

Well you have posted here before DOG and I will say again what I said then.

Please be circumspect about what kind of ‘advice’ you offer.

I have seen just how cavalier you can be with your own health (you are the guy who experienced thunderclap headaches in the gym, yet ignored everyonee advice and went back to training). I would hate for you to be giving advice without any experience, unless you clearly state that in your posts.[/quote]

I went back to working out when I felt fine and I was right. I did just fine and made a full recovery without anymore mishaps. Are you really going to hang something over my head that I ended up being correct about? We don’t even know if these were thunderclap headaches to begin with.

If I remember correctly, I remembered certain site members of the steroid forum telling others who have possibly lethal abscesses as to how they should go about operating on themselves instead of going to the doctor’s. Furthermore, I remember you in your Test Undeconate thread that you were going to go through with an experiment by ramping your body up with Test Undec and go for 12 weeks without PCT. I’m “cavalier” with my own health? I hope I am making some sort of sense to you.

Regardless, I have no trouble mentioning my inexperience with steroids when giving advice, but keep this in mind; experience does not always make someone more qualified to give out advice just like a degree does not always make someone more qualified for a job. Many people have done several cycles and still don’t know shit. They don’t even know the chemical name of what they’re putting into their bodies quite often, and I’m not even talking about the long name of it! Besides, I have done a cycle. Granted it wasn’t a very intelligent one (not in terms of safety, but effectiveness), but I have.

Anyhow, Bushy, no harm meant. I hope to acquire much more knowledge from that mind of yours. Have a nice day.

This is totally true - but that doesnt mean the opposite is true also - and it isnt. Just because some who have done a few cycles dont know shit doesnt mean that someone who has not done any/many cycles should be giving advice or opinion on subjects of which they have no/very little experience personally.

I am not convinced that you should be posting that much on this forum, i have read a few of your posts in the Bodybuilding forum and you do have the typical teenage mentality, which is beginning to damage the credibility of these forums in some peoples eyes.

You are welcome here however - i just hope you do respect some of the ‘rules’ here, and are here to learn rather than try to teach.

Welcome.

JJ

Hey DOG,

I think me and you can be in the same boat.

I have yet to cycle, but feel that my knowledge on the topic is greater than some of the numbskulls that have several cycles under their belts but with little knowledge.

If and when I post in here it is usually regaurding research .vs. advice. I feel that I cannot give advice on something that I’ve never done.

So I try to mostly read this forum and not clutter it with advice I’m not qualified to give, but when I do give advice I just try to make sure that people know it’s “from my understanding” or “from my research” not “from my experience”.

I also don’t give out advice unless I know it 100% to be true or at least have several studies or people with experience to agree with me.

Anyways dood I’m glad that you will be here becuase it doesn’t make me a “lone wolf”, if that’s the word, anymore :stuck_out_tongue: lol

Also I think the people that roll in this forum are waaaay more fun to kick it with online than those of other forums lol I’d also rather get my training and nutrition advice from some of the vets here than from people in the other forums as well.
