Maintenance Routine for the Next Two Months

Hi guys, the next 2 months will be unreal as far as job/study is concerned…

I’d rather mantain training as Little as possibile (maybe even progress, Who knows) than quit training at all.

I am thinking about training once every 4-5 days.

Squats (20 reps breathing style)
Incline bench
Close grip chin ups (some indirect biceps love)
Dips
Barbell row

Everything (except for squats) done like this:

First set to failure (8-12 reps), rest 30 seconds, go to failure again, rest 30 seconds, go to failure again… For like 10 mini sets per each exercise.

And yeah that sounds brutal. But I also guess if frequency and volume Is so low, intensity has to be crazy high.

Let me know if you have any advice.

I like it. Probably don’t need a multitude of pause sets. 3 rest-pauses a la DC training are likely enough provided you are giving it your all.

I get what you’re saying about "less frequency =more intensity " appearing logical on paper but realistically, you can only get so much productive stumuli in one session. If you go drastically beyond that, your body may simply be struggling to recover from the beating and not grow/improve by the next session.

But hey, give it a go. See what happens. It may work great. For you.
