Long time lurker, first time poster. I’m currently doing BBB 4 days a week. In two weeks my schedule is going to change to 12-hour shifts, 5 on/off 2 on/off. This schedule change will last for 10 weeks, then I will be able to resume what I’m doing now. I don’t see how I can realistically maintain my current schedule without making huge sacrifices to sleep, quality of life, family time, etc. I will have access to a well-equipped gym at work, and will have the ability to sneak in some lifts here and there, and quite possibly do a 30 minute training session right at the beginning of my shift. I am looking for ideas/input on how best to achieve this. My goal in the next 10 weeks is just to maintain as much strength as possible. I don’t care about adding weight to my lifts, I just don’t want to take a huge step backwards. I could conceivably just do my current programming on my 5 days off, but that seems like a lot of time between sessions.
Sounds like you’re going to be quite the busy man for 10 weeks
Alternatively, if you wanted to make use of that 5 day a week 30 minute window
If you are short on time maybe think about just working up to a single heavy amrap set for each of the 4 main lifts. You could easily get this done at work and it will be enough to maintain most of your strength.
Then challenge yourself with daily tabata front squats or thrusters. Only takes 4 mins a day, but if you did it every day, you will transform. I know @T3hPwnisher also likes Armor Building Complexes and if you did these daily again it is little time for big reward.
