Well I just finished the growth phase of the Mag-10 plan and im now starting with the recovery. its tough because i just want to continue lifting heavy! but im going to stick with it.
Before i started, i weighed 173 at 13.5% body fat.
well to start off, i started taking 12 pills a day, 6 in the morning and 6 at night. I was taking in about 5500 calories a day to meet my needs. I would eat a larger breakfast than normal and it actually made me less hungry through out the day and more slugish.
I was fairly weak when i first started it two weeks ago, i was repping 135 on bench and struggling at doing so.
Well by the end of the two week session i was repping 175 and felt great doing so.
The second week I cut down to only 6 pills a day, and i ate a smaller breakfast.
It was much easier to eat the amount i needed to eat through out the day, and I felt much stronger and less sluggish. I dont know if its just from cutting back to 6 pills a day or the smaller breakfast but that seemed to work much much better for me.
I just wanted to post my progress and experience with it. Seemed that 1 dose a day vs 2 dose’s worked better for me. And i’ve definately had some gains from this, no doubt about that.
Now im 181 and have actually lost 1% body fat, down to 12.5
THANKS T-NATION!! I wouldnt be where im at now without this site, i love it. I just keep progressing steadily and am in much better shape than i ever have been.
