Gross, why no added flavor? 2 caps a bottle (4 scoops MAG-10) does it for me
just read what goes into the flavouring. I would avoid it if i can help it.

I’ve read through the thread little by little over the past couple of weeks, but can’t recall if this is addressed:
Does the bottle need to be refrigerated once the mix has been made?
Thanks.
No it doesn’t. Just carry around and drink. You can refrigerate if you make it way before your 1st pulse though. But it only takes 30secs to make, so I don’t see the point of making it ahead of time.

can anyone go into detail about why the flavoring is so… not-good-for-you?
Third fast day tomorrow… I really love the fasts, I am getting great results. I will update following tomorrow’s fast. Here are a couple observations:
I like Power Drive in both drink 1 and 2, tastes better and helps me get through the day easier. 1.5 scoops per bottle
The training on the fast day is surprisingly spirited and strong, no lag, no lack of energy
I drink water and green tea like a fool on fast days, like two gallons in total, probably has something to do with the empty stomach, just trying to put something in there. In turn I am running to the bathroom every 30 minutes or so.
Love handles are literally falling off me, same thing with lower stomach. My traditional fat storage areas are getting stripped.
-Cardio first thing on fast day, at 530am and then first drink at 7am, that is working well
Following day, once I start eating, Im high, it must be some endorphin rush or something, but I feel like Im on something, I feel wonderful, like Im dancing on clouds.

How are you easting post fast? Maintenance? Below? Are you training twice the days after?

Hey guys sorry if this question has been answered, but i just couldn’t find anybody asking it. So…if this pulse fast was to be done 2x a week, and the off days having loads of good calories and training, would this result in a recomp?
I’m planning to try this out in a few weeks time. Pulsing 2x a week and lots of food. My aim is actually to get huge and ripped(well duh), and i have about 2 months of free time where i can train 2x a day. It sort of goes against all traditional thinking though, such as ‘‘burning fat’’ on pulse days while simultaneously building muscle. Can anyone correct me if i’m wrong?

can anyone help me answer my question, on whether its possible to do both of building muscle and burning fat effectively at the same time, or just better to focus on either one while doing this protocol? thanks
Second fast completed on Sunday 10/31. Did not do detailed measurements this time. Will need to make that a part of the process going forward. Definitely lost less this time, about a pound. I was about 184 starting the fast (about a 1/2 pound heavier than last time…so I gained back all of the weight lost. Not a bad thing if it includes some muscle), and came in about 183. Weights are approximate because I took them at different times and did not write them down. I will keep an more accurate log of the results over the next 7 weeks / 15 fasts.
As most folks are saying, this second fast was much easier.
Easier for me in this case means I did not go through all the mental highs and physical and lows. The feeling throughout the day was more consistent. I wonder if this is that my body is adapting to the fasting already. This is consistent with the concept of resetting your body to be more efficient.
I started to get some hunger late in the day, and lose some ability to concentrate. Was not very motivated to do anything that required thinking. but this was around 8:00 PM so not a big deal at all. Was able to wind down, do some light reading and get to sleep ok.
Did not sleep all that well, even with taking ZMA before bed. Slept better than the first fast though. Woke up once over night to pee and then woke early at 5:00 AM, 30 min before the alarm. So I got up and ate about 6:00 AM.
As a side note, I ordered items to start the Anaconda Protocol 2…Anaconda, MAG-10, and Surge. A key area of interest for me is recovery, because it is such a limiting factor. For years, I have been bumping up against this wall of making great progress and then I get sick (sinus infections are a common one for me). This is especially true when I mix in any significant amount of interval training.
The Perfect Rep article explains this, in a way that is consistent with what I have been reading over the past couple years. The Perfect Rep approach has helped me to train more often without over training. Interested to see if the Anaconda Protocol helps further. If so that will be very exciting, because it means I can keep the gains going without having to keep taking steps back every month or two due to getting sick, which I feel is an over training condition.

With Power Drive in both bottles, how well do you sleep?
Did your ability to train hard on fast days develop after the first couple times, or always that way for you? First time I felt drained, not able to train…sort of like when restricting carbs. But second fast I was able to do a regular workout, and it was decent intensity.
Your mental state of feeling high the the next day, was it that way from the start or more noticeable as you did more? I am not finding that I have a lot of energy or mental alertness next day.

Not sure what you are asking. The MAG-10 Pulse Fast promotion article was crystal clear on body composition enhancements being the goal. So are you asking if folks here believe it will work? If so, can’t speak for others but I do believe it will work.

Quoted your PM and answered your question in the T-Cell thread.
Londonrunner, I’m eating way above maintenance on the day following the fast day. Im not eating junk, just tons of food, tons of protein, carbs and healthy fats. I haven’t trained the day following a fast day yet due to my hectic schedule.
Hypergainer,
Power Drive doesnt stimulate me like caffeine or clenbuterol. I have no problem sleeping, especially the fast days because I am so hungry and pissed off that the only solace is sleep. My training is good on the fast days, I trained morning the first fast and evening the second, no problems either time.
I think early morning card helps in the fast day, I’ll do a bike interval workout for like 20 minutes. I like it most because I don’t have to eat super tight the rest of the week and I am still losing bodyfat and keeping any bloat down.
I trained on the morning of day 5 (Monday) after one pulse about one hour after waking up (I normally train late evening). Reduced volume (deload week) but maintained intensity. No ill effects during workout or after, even though I travelled out of town on business. Did have a sneaky coffee or two, which I haven’t done before. I had eaten and drank some shit on Saturday, an again on Tuesday and today while with colleagues. The net result is that my waist is bulging and I can almost feel the fat gain! I am so looking forward to tomorrow’s pulse fast to get rid of the bloat and get back on track.
Well yesterday was my 6th and most likely last pulse fast. The results are good, I’ve eaten above maintenance and even pigged out on some not so great stuff on some days, and still leaned up a bit. I ran out of MAG-10 and honestly, I can’t afford to be buying it anymore. It’s not much more expensive than a regular day of eating, but I pay for my supps while my parents pay for food. My bank account can’t take the MAG-10 right now lol. But I’m trying to land an internship with a company that distributes electricity in my town so if that happens then I’ll be doing it in the future.
Scale weight dropped a solid 10 pounds over the few weeks of doing the fasts by the way. I did them once every 4-6 days for a total of 6 fasts.

Glad to hear you had such good results. Hoping for at least these same results. Starting 3rd fast today.
Sorry to hear that you have to stop. Are you sure your parents would not add this to your groceries for the month, if you could keep the overall cost the same? This is really different than supplements, since it replaces food on the fast day. And for the productivity boost on fast days due to no need for meals, if you can quantify it they might see value there as well.
