OK, first off, no flames about perceived laziness please. So am I correct in my asssumptions here- 2 weeks MAG 10, 2 weeks Tribex-500, and repeat again for a total of 8 weeks? Or was it 4 weeks straight of Mag 10 followed by 8 weeks of Tribex-500? Any other suggestions?
Here’s my undertanding:
Label will probably recommend 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off. That time can be reduced to 2/2 if Tribex-500 is used between MAG-10 cycles.
The other end of the spectrum would be to stay on MAG-10 for 6-8 weeks straight. Then it would be essential to come off with Tribex/Vitex, Biotest “M” (possibly, not tested yet) or Clomid.
I’m sure there are other options with 4 week cycles. There is also the option of doing it gonzo style and using two doses daily, but I doubt that’s necessary.
Correct me if I’m wrong or I missed something, Bill or Brock.
I’m going to try 6 weeks on, come off with clomid, maintain for 3 weeks, and diet for another 3, for a total of 12 weeks.
I don’t like 2/4 cycles (at least with Androsol) as I feel I only begin making gains in the second week.
Thanks Shugs. Assuming you adopt the 2 weeks Mag 10 / 2 weeks Tribex cycle, is there a recommended number of those 4 week cycles you should do back to back?
I better let Bill answer that one. Not positive myself. (I’d guess 3 to 4 but don’t hold me to that.)
That’s something that’s really not looked into but I’d answer it this way… if you’re talking over the long term, I’d rather you be “off” twice as often as “on.” There’s
no sharp division between say, six months
of being “on” half the time being OK and
seven months not being OK. If your testicles
seem to be doing fine, I really wouldn’t
have much problem with doing that for a year,
though I’d rather see it limited to more like six months, but would have a problem with someone wanting
to do it for years.
Thanks Bill & Sure-Wood. Anyway, I’ve noticed that a lot of T-Men are antsy about abandoning their moderate fat diets while on Mag 10. I can see the need for 2g/lb protein and adequate carbs (especially post workout), but can we stay with more of a moderate carb (30%) diet?
I’m convinced that keeping carbs up is
very important for rapid gains.
