Testing at 2 weeks on an ester with a long half-life is indicating your doctor lacks understanding of pharmacodynamics. It’s going to take months to reach steady states on Nebido.
Your doctor is having you draw labs way too early.
Very possible or It is a learning process for him too.
In my country, TRT is a treatment applied only for hyper hypogonadism patients or for those over 45 years old. He is the only person I’ve been able to convince of TRT after talking to a few urologists and endocrinologists for a long time. The procedure he used to followed in the use of Nebido in his previous patients was 4ml (1000mg) in 10-14 weeks. He is trying something new with me and I am okey with that. At least until to find any other alternative.
What I want to understand here is why a product with a long half-life has a low result after 2 weeks?
And what exactly is that?
Nebido should have peaked regardless, people are using it for weekly injections.
Yeap, I know and everybody knows in this forum However, it is new for my doctor. Let me explain:
In Turkey, our health system is state-based. Private insurance follows state procedures too. Even your private laboratory reference values say your T limit is out of range and low (In my case 2.5),the government doesn’t describe it as a disease unless you are more than 40 years old and your T is lower than 1.3. For these kinds of reasons, we don’t have TRT specialists and doctors are not open-minded. Believe me, so far I talked and discuss with 2 Prof and 3 MD without luck.
I have only access to two testosterones which are Nebido and Sustanon. The standard procedure is the usage of 4ml Nebido (10-16 weeks circle) or 1ml Sustanon (2-3weeks circle) in the book and doctors have only the appropriate experience with those procedures.
I finally found a doctor I could talk to easily and start my TRT but from my point, something seems wrong.
Why I can’t see an increase in my test results? Isn’t it weird?
Becuase you picked the longest ester Testosterone. If you had picked Sustanon which is a blend that include Test prop you would have had higher blood T levels quicker. What you did is not ‘bad’ per say, but you it doesnt work that quickly. Neither one are good options but if I had the two choices I would pick Sustanon and pin it 2x per week. Just me.

Thanks blshaw. Today after a review with my doctor, we decided to move on with Sustanon too. Cheers
It’s funny how these guidelines can even exist given the fact that sex hormones are so poorly understood by even the so-called specialists that don’t exist in your country.
