Lower Ab Issues

Need some advice, pretty sure i tore my lower abs again and i dunno what to do about it, heres some backround

End of october i got mono, fucked me up bad, lost about 25lbs in 3-4 days
A week later i was back in the gym, took it easy since i was pretty weak and tired
2 weeks after that i was back to lifting heavy again, started getting abdominal pain and feeling nauseous
Worried that i tore open a hernia (inguinal) that i was operated for 5y ago, saw the guy who operated me, told me that i tore a muscle right where the hernia was, to take a couple weeks off and ease into lifting

Took 2 months off, took it somewhat easy at first, started up again late december, started going heavy again beginning of february, now my lower abs are sore and hurting a bit again so i stopped lifting again…hurt myself doing reverse lunges i think or maybe DL, felt pretty uncomfortable during but i kept going
Ive been neglecting doing ab work pretty much since mid october (havent been doing much)

Made an appointment with a sports doctor a while back, going to see him beg of march
Physiotherapists that ive seen seem to be useless in regards to this injury (not sure what to do)

How should i go about lifting again so i dont get hurt? Take time off again? Stick to cardio and strengthen my core and abs for a couple weeks?
What can happen if i keep pushing through the discomfort? another hernia?

sorry about all the questions but i have no idea what to do about an abdominal injury

btw ive been doing this program of late

If you’ve legitimately torn a muscle you need to see a professional. I’ve torn both my hammies and it’s not fun.

Have you looked into kenisotaping? I’ve read for BBB that it yields promising results for recovery and symptomatic relief. See if you can find a trained personal in your area and try that.
