Low Test.....

Results just in, not only do I have a cyst on my right nut but my total test is 286 and I am only 30. I had sleep apnea and rls. Surgery fixed the apnea and the rls is under controll with meds. I have still felt like shit for a long time so getting this fixed will be a very welcome change in my life.

rfish, didn’t you reply to my other thread and say you might have a varicocele? Did you get an ultrasound done. Varicocele will and CAN cause low test.

With a level of 286 you are hypogonadal and would benefit well from HRT/TRT. Did you get full blood work done?

I did get an ultrasound but things felt pretty half assed, total test was the only blood work. Going in friday to discuss the low test and cyst.

Now that I have my t-levels checked I have been searching for info and found this http://www.urotoday.com/browse_categories/geriatric_urology/low_testosterone_linked_to_apathy_in_parkinsons_disease.html

Interesting to me because most of the treatment for restless legs has been parkinsons drugs. Looks like low T can cause leg pain and anxiety just like with RLS, I see the uro friday and hope I can push him to treat me pretty quickly. My wife is in the medical field and I used to be so hopefully I can approach this from a convience stand point for injections, we are also trying to have kids so I think that HCG should be justified.

Looks like they are now ordering LH and prolactin bloodwork. I will get test in one form or another next week. He said no to home injection (office shots every 2 weeks) and tried to push the patch and said gel might be an option.
