Started taking a low dose aspirin everyday with my fishoil since I started to get back into heavier lifting schemes. This something I should not be doing everyday or is the 81mg dose safe for prolonged use. I am only 27 so I am not real sure when the right time to start is so to speak. Thanks in advance.
Safe, yes, necessary, no. 75 mg is the most common dose here, so 81 seems pretty good, albeit a very odd dose. Not so sure it’s beneficial as primary prevention: Aspirin in the primary and secondary prevention of vascular disease: collaborative meta-analysis of individual participant data from randomised trials - PubMed
After MI or stroke, it’s indicated, or if you’re on AAS I could see the benefit, but a 27 year old healthy male shouldn’t really need ASA.
81 mg is the standard low-dose strength in the US–it’s 1/4 of an adult 325 mg dose.
Why are you taking it? That is, what are you concerned about–what are you treating, or trying to prevent?

Yeah I agree with above and unless you are in bad shape I don’t know why you would start it at your age. There are risks involved in long term aspirin use. It’s something good to have around in the event of a heart attack but it’s not a certainty that it will save your life.
Google or Bing low dose aspirin.
Citrulline malate has many studies to verify it’s effectiveness and side effects are nothing like those of long term aspirin use:
thanks for the feedback. No, not on AAS, not for heart. Was doing it mainly for anti inflamatory purposes. Using now just on the days I do sub 5 rep training instead of daily.

Then I definitely wouldn’t take it.
Rest, Ice and Compression are proven reliever of inflammation without the side effects of daily NSAIDS.
On top of those proven methods I have had great results with:
Alternating Hot/Cold therapy
Epson salt bathes
Tiger Balm Ultra (I love this stuff)
