Low Carb/High Protein Powder?

I’m looking for the ultimate low carb/high protein powder. We all know Advanced Protein rocks but I’m looking for something a little different. I’ve been using Nature’s Best Low Carb Isopure and it’s great! - 50g protein 3g carb and 0 fat. Problem is I can’t choke it down without some serious gagging. Anyone have any suggestion for better tasting protein? Wish there was a low carb Surge. Man is that stuff YUMMY

What do you mean by “a little different”? Cheaper or what? My experience is that the best ones out there are MetRx Protien Plus, Dorian’s Pro Peptide, Advanced Protein, or a similar blend of casein/whey/etc from the protein factory.

I’ve never believed those claims of no fat, ultra low carb, and so I stay away from any with these claims. I always thought there had to be fat in a protein powder just because of how it is made…Berardi???

aikigreg…um, if you’re looking for “something different,” you’re looking in the wrong place. Just busted out Advanced for the first time, and you cannot go wrong with it–blend, taste, macros, there all there, my friend. But if you’re a true rebel, you could always go to the Protein Factory and have them throw in a “little of everything.” That’d surely be “something different.”

MK, basically the whole point in making protein powder is to remove the fat, water, carbs, ash, and other undesireables, leaving just protein. Some processes are better than others though… the better processes usually result in protein powder that’s more pure but more expensive.

I went ahead and ordered some Advanced Protein. I figure if nothing else I can mix it with the isopure to up the protein and keep it around a little longer.

I just found out that MD6 can’t be shipped to Texas though. What crap! I didn’t think Texas banned ANYTHING.

i love the hyper absorption whey by prolab. it seems everyone has forgotten about these guys, the product is good and affordable. the banana flavor is great, and it mixes well. I know theres all the hype about casein and whey being best, but we all know they before u know it, some other “study” will be released that contradicts everthing being said now. the whey is high quality and absorbs rite away when u need it.

aikigreg - i am in texas and can get md6. my first order was direct from biotest and they couldn’t get it to me, but on a subsequent order from an online supp company i was able to get it with no problems. just go to your favorite internet search engine and do a search on biotest. once you find the best price give it a whirl. as long as md6 is obtained through a middle man there doesn’t seem to be a problem with gettin it across the stateline. kevo
