Low Body Fat Lifestyle

I’m currently as big as I want to be, and I’m working on dropping bodyfat. I want to get down to 6%, and I’m wondering how do people with bodyfat that low maintain their low bodyfat.

Do they maintain it all year round, I’m assuming not. You can’t be dieting all the time, and beind depraved of food.

What is a good system to follow, so when I do hit that level of bodyfat, I can keep from going back to becoming a fatty =).

I’m currently using ECA stack to help me cut up. I’m also more interested in a system that does not require dependency on any thermogenics.

AL, keep in mind that some people are just naturally lean and in fact do nothing to stay that way. We’ve all met guys with great abs that live on fast food and train like idiots. For the rest of us, I find that keeping my carb intake low to moderate, especially high GI carbs, tends to work best for maintaining. Of course, overall caloric intake plays a role, too. Try a variation of the T-Dawg diet as posted in T-mag or a “Zone” type of diet. Just play with the carb intake until you find an amount that best fits you.

Try using the ZIG-ZAG diet…I use it in conjunction with my workout schedule such that on days I workout I eat more calories and carbs then on non-workout days.

Workout days: eat every 3 hours, each meal being a low fat combination of carbs and protein.

Non-workout days: eat every 2.5 hours each meal being high protein, allowing some good fats, but very low carbs.

I workout on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday…taking Wednesdays and weekends off. I’ve had pretty good success lowering my body fat levels while maintaining my body weight. You do need to play with the amount of carbs you eat somewhat, but you can still eat a good amount of them on the workout days…
